If Negra Modelo isn't my #1 beer it is close to it.
It's a full bodied, Vienna style lager beer imported from Mexico with an ABV of 5.3% (The average is 5.)
The aroma is mild, sweet and malty.
Poured into a glass I could smell hops, caramel, and roast.
Negra Modelo pours to a golden brown with a hint of reddish copper. The head started out thick but dissipated pretty quickly leaving some lace.
The taste is mild, light and a little sweet though not overly sweet or I wouldn't like it. There are hints of malt, caramen and maybe some floral notes. It goes down very smoothly.
Negra Modelo has some carbonation....

People dont waste no time! For all you beer snobs, this is some good stuff..... I completely recommend Negra Modelo...Even for the not-so-beer-snobs, try it out at least once...You havent exerienced its greatness until you have tried it out for yourself....
