Grisoft AVG Free Edition 7.5 —

I'm just like you. No special training, no computer classes, just the average Joe looking to make sure that their computer works without spending tons of money or time on the process.

AVG free enables me to do all that, without all the confusing extras that cause your computer to suddenly do something unexpected. Before I used AVG I was constantly having to turn off my security program to install software. AVG in no way interferes with the normal operation of your computer. What's even better, when it updates, its a quick 30 sec process at start up, and then you are done. You decide when to, or not to, schedule virus scans. If something does happen, say you download a file and a virus gets on your computer, WHAM, AVG is on top of the matter, either healing or confining the virus in a virus vault.

AVG is dependable, trustworthy, and best of all, FREE. If you like the product that much but you need more, there is an edition that offers more that you can purchase. At least you get the opportunity to try before you buy. If the free version meets all your needs, no trial game here. Keep it for life!!

When I think of all the time and money I wasted on other security programs I shudder. AVG is the one for me!

However, just a friendly FYI, I used to use AVG too, but for some reason the 8 series is such a ram hog. It slowed my computer down to the point that it was taking up to 7 mins for my computer to boot to the point where I could use it without lags. Now, I use Avast. It too is free and works much better than AVG. Here is the link if you want to take a look.

Don't be alarmed if they ask you to register. It is free, but that ask that you register your download, and your registration is good for one year. I have used this program on multiple computers and have nothing to complain about. My 1 registration is good for all installations. Just save your email and you are good to go!

I've been looking for for AVG free edition for days. Version 8.5 was free. I had my PC worked on, and lost AVG. I've been through 30 pages on the web, and can't find any. Alot of sites say to down load free, when I open the page, there isn't anything there about downloading, or it isn't free. Where do I find it? You tell me!
