Last night the boys were with their Dad and I decided to put in Griffin & Phoenix while I caught up on some paperwork. Well, to heck with the paperwork - the movie was so good I didn't get much done while it was on. I am single again and would love to find someone that I had the type of chemistry with that these characters had. The movie was funny, sweet, sad, heartfelt, moving, thoughtful and thought provoking. I thoroughly enjoyed it even though I spent the last several minutes crying hysterically. …

This movie was pretty good starting out because we learn about Griffin. He is a divorcee with two boys whom he rarely sees. His ex wife fumes when he doesn't call before coming over to spend time with them. Griffin soon learns that he only has a certain amount of time left and feels he needs to understand it. Attending a class on dying leads him to meet Sarah Phoenix. She is a beautiful young woman who takes interest in Griffin. Together they force each other to think about the finer things in life.
