Theres alot to be said about this breed, and if someone was intrested..I'd very much point them to this breed. Now, some of the cons that can be listed, well..it doesnt apply to every greyhound..not even some, most or whatever. They are very...indepentant of so call cons..They arent guarddogs, 95% of really arent. "Not easy to train" hmm, neither are humans..but I believe this is totally wrong. "Aggressive to small dogs/pets" yes, some can be, some arent. My grey loves my cat and my cat loves her..so again, this con doesnt apply to the whole breed. "Not good swimmers" now this one, i'm not sure cause i dont swim with my grey nor does my grey have access to a pool or any place where she could swim. They do need to be on a leash, or have a fenced yard when outside. Some arent good with very young kids..again, I dont have any, but my grey has been around kids of 1 and 3 yrs old and she is wonderful!
The pros... Most dont bark, but some can "Roo". They do love to follow and be around the owner. They dont need alot of exercise, but some do require enough. They tend to be "leaners"..They do "roach", which if you havent seen it, its quite funny looking, but its a good thing! They tend to need soft things to lay..but wouldnt you? Their hair is short, dont need to have alot of grooming done, mostly nails.
