Three Cups of Tea is a magnificent account of the work of Greg Mortenson in the wild areas of Afghanistan and Pakistan. He was an avid mountain climber, climbing the peaks of the highest mountains, when one wrong turn in the road led him to Korphe, a town that would change his life. Surrounded by children who are without a formal education, Mortenson returns to Pakistan to build schools for them, particularly for the girls who would have had no other opportunity. While reading about his struggles, triumphs and insights, written with the help of David Oliver Relin, you realize that one man really can make a change in the world.
