co written by Greg Mortenson and David Relin is a thought provoking story of a part of the world that most Americans only hear about on the nightly news.  Mortenson started as a mountain climber  and ended up as a builder of schools in a harsh and inhospitable  land in Pakistan and Afghanistan.  In the course of little over a decade he was able to build 10 schools for both boys and girls in a land that didn't believe in schools for females. I would recommend this book to individuals and book clubs.
