My dog has congestive heart failure, and as a result takes two pills in the morning and three pills in the evening. Before I found this product I tried putting his pills in cheese. After the first time he would eat the cheese and prompty spit the pills out on the rug. So I tried lunch meat, hot dogs, anything that I could think of. He would always take the treat and neatly deposit the pills on the carpet. Frusterated, I asked the vet what she would recommend, outside of sticking each pill down his throat, a process that was traumatic to both of us. She said that some of her clients had mentioned...
review »I have an very old dong (she's 14) and the vet told us to feed her an asprin a day. She doesn't like taking pills at all and if put in her food, eats around it. I was trying to find a way to feed them to her when I got a sample of Greenies Pill pockets in the mail and decided to try them. They work amazing, she thinks she's getting a treat when really she's getting a pill and a treat. she loves them and gets happy as soon as she smells them. They are simple to use and healthy for the dog.
i had such a hard time giving my dog pill form medicine. Then i learned about the greenies pill pockets. they come in chicken or beef flavor. my dog loves them and has no idea the pill is inside!
My dog is picky and smart, but i was able to put his allergy pill in Greenies Pill Pockets and he took it. I was stunned he usually knows.
