My dogs love these - I have no idea why because they smell horrible - but they are suposed to be good for them and really do make their breath smell better. They also come in all sizes which is great because sometimes it is difficult to find things for smaller dogs. They do not last long at all though... review »

Quick View: I tried to be green but these bones turned my dog green. He was not at all into these expensive treats.

When Greenies first came on the market, I thought the idea was great and that my dog would love them. Greenies are dental "cures" for dogs and cats with bad breath.  They are advertised as to assist with the dental maintenance of pets. But I have to defer and agree to a certain point.  My dog is a care free dog that enjoys most, if not all things chew bones that are deemed as being dental health focused.  Yet, with the greenies, he liked them for maybe the first or second one that I gave him, but overtime the Greenies will get hard and he did not like them.  Even in the packaging, closed... review »

Greenies are my dogs favorite treat!  He will insist on getting one every night by planting himself infront of the couch and using his inside voice asking.  He won't let us watch anything till he gets our attention and he gets a Greenie.

I am amazed at just how much he likes them.  This product has also helped improve our little dogs breath.  He use to turn his nose up to regular dog treats, not anymore!

The best thing about this product is the value.  The packaging keeps the greenies fresh and appealling.  I rattle the bag and Frankie comes running.  Compared to other treats on the...

I know some people recommend this product as an aid to keep a good dental health for your dog. But "Please", be careful when giving these to your dogs; as Veterinary technician I have seen first hand some problems with this product.

For those furry guys that chew the whole piece, it works "OK" to keep their teeth relatively clean. But for those dogs that do not chew it thouroughly and like to swallow (some times really large pieces), this might be a potential hazard; a foreing  body obstruction (intestinal blockage) waiting to happen. Some times this condition will require exploratory...

I bought my first dog about three years ago; she's a cute little Chihuahua. I didn't know what she needed and quickly learned the basics on puppy pampering. I was looking something that would keep her teeth clean and give her lovely fresh breath. I asked the vet what he recommended, and he gave me a greenie to see how well she liked them. Well it turned out that she LOVES them. I never see her so excited for a treat alone. They work like a dream and are cost effective. I buy the teenie greens and they are about 35 cents per item. You can receive a free sample at greenie.com. BUT I would supervise...

I first was introduced to "Greenies" when we first got out dog "Kiki" in Hawaii. A friend told us how great they were and how their dog went crazy over these treats.  They gave our dog a sample to try and she loved them.  So we went and got our own at the pet store. She has been hooked ever since. We have been giving her greenies everyday (once a day) since we got her 5 years ago. We only had a few days that we ran out and didn't buy them right away, and I think she was depressed on those days! Since she eats them so fast, I bought the smaller size because you get a lot more in the bag.  Plus... review »

I bought these for my dog because I liked the concept. They were overpriced but I wanted to give them a try. Buddy is a rescue dog and has never turned up his nose at anything before. When I opened the bag, he got excited and did a dance. When I handed him a Greenie, he looked at me as if I were trying to kill him. I couldn't even get him a taste one with peanut butter smeared on top. His reaction to these dog treats was almost comical! I am sticking with Milkbones from now on and hoping Buddy and I can be friends again.

I love these greenies.  I have a dog who eats my other dogs poop.  I know this is very gross.  I give one greenie every week when he gets a bath and it really helps.  Both of my dogs love these and can't wait for treat day.  I had heard some bad things about this product but have never noticed any adverse effects on my dogs.  I love my pets and use products that are good for them and that they like.  I highly recomend these to any dog owner with a stinky breath dog.

My dog loves these and it really helps to maintain his teeth, but it is not enough to be used alone.  I still  have to brush his teeth to keep the tartar off.  This was recommended to me by my vet and really helps to make his yearly cleaning last longer!  My dog eats these up as if it were a treasured prize and looks forward to eating his greenie every week.  Sometimes I notice that he needs them twice a week, but I don't mind, He only thinks he is getting spoiled!

My dog loves these and I use them as a reward for her after I finish brushing her. She can finish it in minutes so I assume that means she loves it. I feel they help with her breath which is a huge plus. They seem to be a lot healthier than other treats I see in the stores and give her something to chew on even if it's only for a few minutes. I just wish they were cheaper.

I have 4 dogs.  When they need a treat or are especially bored and yappy I give them greenie.  They love them and it keeps them occupied for quite awhile.  They smell like french bread to me.  Not stinky at all.  And they don't leave any marks on my carpet or furniture.  The dogs love them. and I beleive they are good for their teeth as well.

My dog has turned his nose up at most green biscuts or treats. He has some dental issues so we were hoping he would find something that helped provide regular intervention. I got one of the Greenies as a sample and we both said, "He won't eat it!" Boy were we wrong. He absolutely loved it. Now we can provide a greenie and he is wiling to do tricks to get it!

These pint sized dynamos are simple, easy and well received by our 4 year old West Highland White Terrier.  Sure he is spoiled, but that doesn't eliminate him from having bad doggie breath.  Greenies are a safe bet toward solving this problem.  The way the chews are designed makes it convenient to pick the right size for any breed.
