Green Frog Acoustic Tavern Review

There's a little bar in downtown Bellingham, WA for all you out of staters, that has live music every night of the week, how good it all is now this I don't know, but what I saw sunday 3-16-08 was pretty good. It all started when an old friend I hadn't seen in four years told me he had been playing drums with a guitar player he thought was pretty hot, as in good at guitar.
They started around 8:30pm and played mostly old blues covers, it was a good show composed of vocals, acoustic guitar and a modified drum set. The guitar player was good but many of his melody notes were not clear, but that is to be expected on an acoutic for a good but young player.
My girlfriend and I were at a bar called, "The Green Frog Acoustic Tavern" located on 902 N. State St. #104, it is a nice place with a good beer selection and mexican Coca Cola. Check out www.acoustictavern.com for upcoming shows.
