Green Dot - Prepaid Mastercard —

We have used Green Dot for years, we have had not problems, except that for a long time we were able to put $900.00 on the card, then all of a sudden we could only put $500.00, we were upset, we found out that we had to upgrade to the Green Dot Supreme, well we did, and was informed that we could put $2,500.00 on the card. Well, it never happened that way. We have only been able to put no more than $800.00 on the card. The card always never lets us go over our limit that we put on the card. Until now. We paid our bills, then all of a sudden it showed that we had $374.00, our bills showed posted, So, we went and bought groceries, well the next day it showed $392.89 in the negative, and everything was posted, and went thru. I feel that someone got into our system of the card, messed with our account, or something, this is not a good thing. All of our bills were posted as paid, and we called and made sure , we doubled check everything, and we even called Green Dot, and was told that everything was fine. So, go figure, what would you do in my situation?

...so you're blaming Greendot because you thought you magically had an extra $392+ on your card? Are you kidding me? Some merchants choose to accept credit cards without authorizing first; it is less and less frequent, but still happens (manual imprints are usually this way). This is not Greendot's fault; you would have gone in the negative with any other credit card. At least Greendot doesn't charge an NSF fee AND they went ahead and actually paid your pending transactions despite you not have the money.

Geez, keep track of your own finances and don't spend money you don't have. This is a prepaid card, not a personal accountant. Seems simple enough. This is 100% your fault.
