Ok for children up to 10 or 11, overpriced for accomodations

I have boys 12 and 14 and thought this would be a fun place. Check in was long and crowded the entrance. Water-park was OK and convenient during winter months that it is inside. Better suited for younger children. The rooms were OK. Not worth the $300 plus per night rate, they are just average rooms...

Great for Kids - Great Facility - Service needs some work

My wife and 2 kids plus 2 of their friends (7,8,11 and 12) spent two nights at the Great Wolf Lodge over Winter Break.

Some great things:
- Water park is awesome - wave pool was a highlight - great mix of stuff for kids of all ages.
- Water park was super clean with tons of towels always available.
- Waterpark had safety rules - but few others. You could wear glasses on rides, you could wear water shoes on the rides etc.
- Food was reasonably priced for kids at the buffet and overpriced for the adults - but the food was pretty good.

The Great Wolf Lodge in Williamsburg Virginia is a great family destination. It is new, well maintained and clean. My family loves going here for a night or two. There is plenty for the kids to do and they love the waterpark. It's nice that you have to be staying at the Great Wolf to use the waterpark since this keeps the number of people down. It has never felt very crowded while we were there. It can be expensive but if you sign up on their website for their newsletter they will send you notification of specials.
