Great Value Chewey Granola Bars in Almond Sweet and Salty
These bars come in a box of 6 individually wrapped granola bars, with the entire box weighing 7.4 oz. The picture on the front doesn't look that appealing but I love almonds and seeing whole almonds in the picture had my taste buds salivating in the store. I put a box in my basket and really didn't expect to find whole almonds in the bars, but when I opened the first bar up to eat....surprise---whole almonds!
Great Value Chewey Granola Bars in Almond Sweet and Salty were an immediate hit with me. They had just the right combination of sweet and salty The bars contain a good variety of nuts, granola, crispy rice, honey and a creamy chewy filling. Who would of thoght that Walmart would put out such a delicious granola bar?
These granola bars are only 170 calories and a great subsitute for a full breakfast for those that are up and out of the house quickly during the work week like I am. They are very satisfying and I have enjoyed them since discovering them. I also find myself picking one up in the afternoon if I find myself hungry before dinnertime.

Final Word
I'm totally hooked on this granola bar. It retails for $1.99 for a box of 6 which is a little cheaper than most name brand granola bars. It even tastes better than most of them! If you are looking for a snack or a fast meal replacement, I highly recommend Great Value Chewey Granola Bars in Almond Sweet and Salty.
If you are curious about the study I'm doing it is for a new herbal supplement that is being tested by Pennington Biomedical Reseach Center. This is the third phase of the study which includes restricted calorie intake and exercise. I've been on the program for a month now and I've lost 10 lbs already and I have lots more energy. I'm eating MORE than I used to and I'm losing weight!
