I do not mind a bit of hard work at all. This mower definitely requires a bit more arm grease than motor powered mowers, but this one really is perfect for a tiny yard. My first home was very small and the yard was nearly nonexistent. It made no sense to purchase a gas powered mower, when this one was exponentially cheaper and would cost me nothing to power it. It worked incredibly well. Just push and go. This mower will mow your yard for your without any gas or motor, but you have to be willing to work for it. If you have a lot of growth, it will be hard to use. However, if you keep up with your mowing, it is wonderful! It usually only took me about a half hour to do my whole yard (like I said, it was VERY small) and I always got a nice workout from doing it. I saved myself a lot of money in gas and upkeep from purchasing this little push mower. It still works, but I gave it to my mother. She uses it for a little yard at her apartment and it works just as wonderfully as the day I purchased it! Engine Power It has no engine, so you do not have to worry about engine upkeep or about it breaking down or running out of gas.

You can adjust the blade length on it so you can crop the grass as close to the ground as you like. Handling The Reel Push Lawn Mower handles well. Sometimes it is hard for me to push when at an incline, but my husband does not have that problem. Durability The Reel Push Lawn Mower has lasted us several years. We do not mow our yard very often, but it has continued to be reliable. Safety I feel overall this Lawn Mower is safe. Since it is human propelled, it stops as soon as you quit pushing it. My husband does lawn care during the summer months to make some extra money. But, he always forgets about our lawn! I took matters in to my own hands and bought the Great States 14-Inch Deluxe Hand Reel Push Lawn Mover. I bought it in hopes of it being lightweight and easy to push. I learned the hard way that it's difficult to push if the grass is out of control. But after purchasing this mower I was able to go over the lawn a couple times a week to maintain it. It cuts evenly and quickly. I feel much more polite when I'm using this mower in the morning versus a traditional gas-powered mower which is noisy. I recommend this mower to anyone who doesn't like pushing big, heavy lawnmowers and wants to keep the noise level down to keep the neighbors happy. Performance The performance is great, especially for the price. It is very easy to push and gets the job done after one try. The lines are very visible to where I cut and where I have not.

I have a small back yard, a very active two year old, and a small dog. Being a single mom, I do all of my own yard work.
