Great Smoky Mountains National Park Reviews

On the border between North Carolina and Tennessee lies the most visited National Park in the USA. This national gem lies in the southern Appalachian Mountains, just a short distance from Knoxville, Tennessee (to the northwest of the park) and Asheville, North Carolina (to the east of the park). I'm talking about Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a popular family vacation destination in the eastern United States.

 I absolutely love this place, we go up every February for 5 days....we both have recommended it to all of our friends who most have gone at least once and enjoyed it!!!!!!

     The Great Smokey Mountains is one of the most beautiful places we've ever been.  We went in January which we didn't realize isn't really a good time for snow up in that part of Tennesse. The locals told us it's better to come the middle part of February, so if your wanting to see snow go then.    

       We lucked out though, because it snowed on the second day there.  Not a lot, but enough for us to see it in the mountains.   We drove in the park and started up the mountain.  The kids and I were like the dogs you see trying to get out the window when the car is rolling. ...

My family and I recently took a vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The park is located between Tennessee and North Carolina. It is definitely a must see. The park is 814 square miles of majesty and beauty.

There are plenty of things to do while visiting the park. Hiking, biking, auto touring, fishing, and lots of others. The best part of all is you can enjoy this park and what it has to offer for free.

How wonderful that you are concidering going to Tennessee and the Smokey Mountain National Park.  We visit this area whenever possible, have always been treated wonderful by the locals. 

If your in the area of Gailtinburg or Pigeon Forge after your done with all the business of seeing and doing take a day to relax.  Drive up to the park.  There are many hiking and walking trails for those who like it easy or hard.  Why not do several? 

Inside the park you can visit cades cove.  The area is georgous and it is not only wonderful for the eye to see, but you can drive a loop and see the homes/...

My family and I live 2 hours from the Smokies but love to get away once or twice a year to spend a few days in the Smokies.  It is so nice to get a cabin or even a hotel in the middle of the action.  There is an endless supply of things to do and see.  It's nice being close and being able to go try different things throughout the year.  But, if you are traveling from far away and want to make the most of a few days you should definately use a day to go to the Aquarium, shop the outlet malls, eat dinner at Dixie Stampede (wonderful food and great entertainment for the whole family).  If you...
