Grayban GrayBan Anti Gray Hair —

When my mother called me and told me that my sister had discovered a miraculous product to reverse gray hair, I thought she was nuts.  I could not believe that ANYTHING out there would be THAT good unless something was wrong with it, or it would be more popular by now.

My sister and her husband both had remarkable gray hair reversal, but I still was not totally convinced.  My mother's hair was so gray that it was almost transparent in most spots so I figured if it would work in HER hair, it would work for anyone.

I mean, who wouldn't want their grey - [ gray ] hair to go back to its natural color?

WHAT IS GRAY BAN LIKE?

My mother brought out a bottle of GRAYBAN to show me.  It is a small plastic white bottle with a spray top on it, much like non-aerosol hairspray.  GRAYBAN has only 6.8 ounces of product in it.  GRAYBAN is a clear watery liquid with no obvious odor to it.  It sprays on the hair and you can not see it unless you happen to get a little on your skin- then the skin turns darker but it is easily washed or wiped off.

HOW DOES GRAYBAN WORK?

Supposedly, GRAYBAN uses natural protein in the hair to create malanin which restores hair to its natural color.  You spray on daily for 28 days and then twice a week after your hair is at the perfect color to maintain it.

It does not rub out or wash out of your hair, but it will fade back to gray if you stop using it for a while.

HOW WELL DID GRAYBAN PERFORM?

I was with my mom for two weeks while on a trip, and she had been using GRAYBAN for a few weeks before our trip.  I was shocked when I saw her at the beginning of the trip (we do not live near each other) because her hair had darkened a lot to a very beautiful golden taupe color- her original haircolor.

As we were on our trip, I saw her hair darken even more beautifully.  It darkened naturally so that it did not look fake at all like some sunless tanners do on skin.  The darkening effect is very natural looking.  GRAYBAN seemed to really be working to restore my mom's hair from gray - almost transparent - to a beautiful natural golden taupe.

DRAWBACKS OF GRAYBAN?

The only drawbacks of grayban are that you should apply at night before bed because it can be a bit tacky on the hair so you might not want to do it in the morning if you are going out.  GRAYBAN can weigh down very thin fine hair.

Another drawback is if you accidentally get it on your skin around your hairline, you will get some darkening of the skin, but it is easily washed or rubbed off the skin- it is not permanent like it would be with hairdye.

The last drawback about GRAYBAN that I can see so far is that you have to be vigilant about applying it. Once you have hit 28 days, you have to apply it twice a week after that or your hair will return back to gray.  So, if you do decide to use GRAYBAN make sure you have a backup bottle so you don't run out.

COMMENTS

I have seen GRAYBAN work on three different people now, and I might grab a bottle for someone I know who is prematurely gray to see if it really DOES work for them too.  It would be nice not to have to dye their hair all of the time for them.

What I have seen so far from the three people who have had great success with it is that their hair is back to their original color (or close to it) and they are much happier and feel better about themselves.

For 6.8oz of GRAYBAN, you can expect to pay anywhere from $19 to $25.  Some places offer free shipping as well.

I am not sure if this is similar to the old time Grecian Formula products that came out quite a few years ago or not.  The advertising about GRAYBAN says that it uses no harsh chemicals, and I am not sure if Grecian Formula made similar claims or not.

I will update this review if for some reason GRAYBAN stops working on the three people who I have seen results with using it.  So far, however, it is going strong with all three of them, the first having started using it 6 months ago.

WHERE TO BUY?

You can get GRAYBAN at the following places

www.vermontcountrystore.com

www.salonweb.com

www.feelgoodstore.com

and if you do a search on the web for GRAYBAN (also use the spelling greyban for more places), you can find even more.

PHOTOS

I hope I can show you some photos eventually of before and after when I find someone willing to let me post them.

if you ever do try it, make sure to let me know if it worked for you. I am very curious how this works on everyone - if it really does bring back original color or if some people get diff color hair. It is such fascinating stuff. :) So GLAD you took the time to comment!

That is so interesting! I'm seeing some gray streaks, but I don't want to fuss with dying, since I hate roots. At some point, this might be a better option, even though it would be pricier. Thanks for the info!
