    breathtaking scenery, a visual record of geological history, many forms of wildlife

Cons
    None at all

The scenery and the views are incredible.  If you only have one day, take the train from Williams.  You will get a good overview of the area and you'll have a little time to explore on your own.  If you have more time, drive and stop at all the scenic turnouts.  Be sure to stay for sunset or arrive early enough for sunrise.
