Great movie. Though I'm sure it wasn't intended to be funny, and as multicultured as my family is, we all almost fell out of our seats laughing with the way Clint refers to people of different races, ethnic, religious, and financial backgrounds in this movie. Only he could play such such a deliberate racist without ultimately being one. Some of the overtones in this movie reminded me of American History X, with a lot of characteristic similarities being able to be drawn between the lead roles at the end of the movie, only with different tragic endings.
Teaches that people regardless of color, or ethnicity are really just that, people. Teaches that everybody should have a protector, that revenge while taken doesn't need to be violent, and that self-sacrifice should always be considered as une of the most admirable traits of the human spirit.
