Gran Torino —

I didn't actually have any intention of seeing this film because the trailers just didn't seem that interesting to me but I went anyways b/c couple friends wanted to see it. I'm glad I gone along. This movie starts a little slow but then the story picks up and gets really interesting. Eastwood did an awesome job playing this guy, I think it fits in the type of character he plays which is a tough arrogant old bastard that seems to hate everybody but actually has a soft spot. So he was great from start to end. With lot of movies coming out these days that's all action, CGI or just slapstick humor it's very nice to see a movie that seems more real. The movie actually has a story that gets to you, at least it got to me. It's not anything that makes you want to go out and save the world but kind of appreciate the little things.

Only one thing that kind of bugs me is the rest of the cast. Sometimes their acting aren't up to par to what Eastwood is putting on screen. I dont' think any of them done previous acting work so taking that into consideration they actually did pretty good.
