I was really pleasantly surprised by the smooth taste! I have tried the other whole grain pastas and um, ew. Too much like fiberboard. Really. You can feel the slivers of, wholegrain? in your mouth. This product absorbed the sauce and chewed more like the semolina pasta we are used to. I only buy this product unless I need a shape this one doesn't come in. A healthy and no brainer choice for adding more fiber to our diet.
