Graco iMonitor Multi-Child Digital Baby Monitor Review Summary

“Why is everything wonderful named isomething?” Well the Graco iMonitor Multi-Child Digital Baby Monitor is no exception. Many reviewers seem to be raving that the iMonitor is “So clear no matter where we are in the house.” Check in on two children/rooms simultaneously with the multi-child functions of the Graco iMonitor Baby Monitor. Don’t worry; The iMonitor includes rechargeable batteries, which is good since it doesn’t seem to hold a charge very long. Including sound, lights and vibration, parents are sure to be alerted to any noise made in the room, though you may not hear every little breath baby takes. Though the packing states it will not interfere with wireless networking, a few reviewers did have connection problems while using the Graco IMonitor. One satisfied reviewer exclaims that the iMonitor “gives me freedom!” Compare the iMonitor to other baby monitors by clicking here.

This is kind of a follow up for those of you who enjoyed by Fisher-Price monitor review.  The Graco Baby iMonitor Multi-child Digital Baby Monitor is the replacement for the Fisher-Price monitor we hated.  Aside from the length of it's name and it's price, the monitor is TONS better!

The iMonitor is...

The Graco iMonitor has been pretty good for us. Compared to the Sony monitor we have, it is great! Some of the pros: it has 2 receivers so we do not have to try to carry one around all day. We can keep one in our bedroom and one in the kitchen.  Cons: short short short battery life. I literally try...

When we were about to have our second child in under 2 years, it became obvious that we needed to invest in another monitor.  But I didn't want to have to have two monitors.  Last year, there were only two dual ones on the market and this one definitely had the advantages.  The fact that you can turn it to only one room or the other and adjust between the lengths of time in each room was a big win.  The different colored lights for each child was also really helpful for moms (and dads) trying to decipher cries in the middle of the night.

One thing I didn't like was that there was no way to...

So, we started out with a Graco monitor, but it was SO staticy - I was willing to tough it out, but my hubby was NOT! So, we decided we would try every monitor out there until we found one we were happy with. Fortunately, the iMonitor was the first in our field testing and our search was over. It is SO clear no matter where we are in the house - and we have and old house with S-O-L-I-D walls. I also love the trifecta of sound, lights, and vibration - very 21st century :) Aside from being clear at long distances, it doesn't pick up interference and I love being able to adjust the sound sensitivity...

I really like the Imonitor a lot. I have a baby with a congenital heart defect so it is important that I know when he is awake or crying excessively, because it puts too much stress on him; so I have to get to him and calm him right away. I got the monitor because I have housework that I need to get done downstairs at home, but when I go down there I can't hear when he is awake.  With the Imonitor I can hear even when he rubs his feet on the blanket. It is really sensitive! I also use it when my other kids are downstairs playing. This helps with knowing what is going on. Such as when they come...

Graco iMonitor Multi-Child Digital Baby Monitor has been a reliable product for us. As a first time mom I am a worrier when it comes to my daughter and Graco is a brand that is well known and a brand that I can trust. I own multiple products from Graco and their products have proven to be reliable time and time again. I did a lot of research as to which monitor seemed best for us and this one seemed to be just what I needed. Two monitors for multiple people to use in case your in different parts of the house. It also vibrates in addition to lighting up and hearing your child clearly. It is able...

My brother, who is a medical doctor and makes sure to only buy the best for his twins, passed the Graco Digital baby-monitor on to me when I gave birth to my son. I've been impressed with its sensitivity to sound. I live in an old house that doesn't have many outlets, so the monitor is plugged in across the room from the baby. Even with that I can hear every small sound from my son, which really gives me piece of mind as I work around the house. The monitor also has pretty good range, as I'm able to take the handset outside to work in the yard. While I wish that the batteries held a charge for...

We received a graco digital baby monitor as a gift and it has never worked properly.  This item picks up interference from everything and when it picks up interference it beeps until it finds its signal again.  I have woken up way too many times to a beeping baby monitor, unable to hear if my baby is awake or not.  I wouldn't purchase this monitor and am currently expecting and planning on buying a new monitor for the second baby.  This thing will go in the trash.  On a positive note, it I can carry the portable monitor quite a distance, across the street for example, and still get a signal...

We had in inherited an old monitor from family members, and needed to find a new one because of the wear and tear after 3 kids. We shopped around and looked at other reviews. We bought the Sony 900mhz at first, but there was a lot of interference. It was hard to hear our daughter at all unless she was actively crying. We bought the imonitor and love it. The sound quality is good. The volume adjustment is very convenient. When my daughter is sick we can turn it up to attend to her more closely. We haven't had it long, but are very pleased so far.

We bought these Graco baby monitors in hope that they were good monitors, we had read some good reviews on target.com.  when we bought them we were impressed with the price.  But after the baby was born and we started to use the monitors we were NOT impressed with the bad reception we got from the monitor upon taking it off the charger and further away from the base in the baby's room

We bought this monitor because the packaging claimed that it would not interfere with wireless home networks or cordless phone.

It interferes with EVERYTHING! If the monitor is turned on our home network loses its connection, along with our wireless internet, and the telephone is so fuzzy that we can't even talk on it while the monitor is on!

I have been very happy with this monitor.  i have tried a few others but this is the only one that really monitors two rooms at once and does it well.  I like how you can choose how long it monitors each child as it cycles through the two rooms and the color coding so I know who is making the noise it aslo great.

this monitor is absolutely great. It has a really good range, clear sound, light displays whenever sounds get louder in the room where the baby is. It also has a battery indicator light and it also lights up when you are getting out of range as well as the fact that it makes a beeping noise! Great monitor.

We enjoyed the portability and sound quality of the graco imonitor baby monitor, but we found it frustrating that it would occasionally beep to warn us it was out of range...while it was stationary.
