I read all the reviews that were available and decided to go with this one. it works very well. I like that I can use batteries making it portable. The range is great. It works well when I'm downstairs. I like how the home unit has a nitelite but wish that it has an option to stay on past the 10 minute timer. I didn't give it 5 stars because I occasionally get some static.

The Grace Ultra Clear II Baby Monitor has great reception. It catches everything, which is really helpful given that the master bedroom is on a different level in the house than the nursery. The monitor is easy to use, and I frequently am able to take it outside so that I can work in the garden and sit on the porch while the baby is sleeping. Very little static, and easy to pack up for when we travel to visit relatives. A great buy!

having the ultra celar II gives many mother the assurance that their babies are ok... I know a lot of mother that use it. It will never hurt to have one.
