Graco Travel System Car Seat Review Summary

Matching baby gear plus value equals the Graco Travel System. Available in a wide variety of fashionable patterns the system includes both a full size stroller and coordinating car seat (with car seat base). Travel System is “very convenient for the mom on-the-go“ since “you can easily go places without disturbing the baby.” Reviewers do consider the Travel System to be easy to fold as you can “take it down with only one hand.” Yet, the “heavy and bulky“ nature of the Travel System bodes differing opinions regarding the ease of maneuvering as well as storage in a compact trunk. In other words, be ready to heft the stroller in and out of the vehicle. Overall though Viewpoints reviewers state “as a first time parent with a budget and this [travel system] was a good choice for us.”

We had a Graco stroller for my first child ten years ago and only when we found out we were expecting our third last year did I decide that MAYBE we should get a new stroller. Our carseat was outdated too so we went with the Graco travel system. I've used other brands for various baby products with mixed results, but I have never been disappointed with Graco. The infant carrier and stroller look nice and are easy to use. We like snapping the carseat in and out of the car when the weather is bad or the baby is sleeping. Is fits nicely into the stroller which is lightweight and easy to… read full review »

We bought the Winnie the Pooh edition ( not that it matters ) and I found it to be one of the best buys for our newborn..If we hadnt have had another child just 15 months later I would still be using our one seater (car seat and stroller combo). I found it very convenient and useful in every outting we did. That says alot since we went camping alot. The stroller is very durable and the way that the car seat fastens onto the stroller is so handy. Like I said before it was a great purchase. I hope I was of some help to the mommies to be....Good Luck with your choices! —… read full review »

I purchased the Graco Car seat for my fourth child because we wanted a car seat that was compatible with the Graco Duo Glider Stroller.   I love not only the options for fabric, but also the safety and security of the seat.  My son loved this car seat so much that he actually slept in it for about the first three months (sometimes even through the night!).  He was able to fit in it comfortably until he was a full 12 months old, which is great!  This car seat was also so easy to click into the base as well as release.  Great buy, great price, well worth the… read full review »

Im reviewing the Graco Eddie Bauer teal and dark brown plaid travel system. — When I first saw this travel system I melted. I HAD to have it. It was my colors in my price range and my boyfriend liked it a lot too. Its a stoller and car seat combo that a man wouldnt mind pushing around or carrying. So we bought it. —         The stroller was very easy to assemble. The car seat snapped into both the stroller and the carseat base very easily. However, this was outside of my vehicle. Once I got the carseat base into my car. After fighting with it… read full review »

This car seat has it's goods and bads.  I put it on our gift registry simply because it was the cheapest car seat I found.  It functions well and it is easy to clean.  Our baby had quite a few "blow out" diapers and the car seat fabric cleaned up easily. We like the base because our older car seat's base moved from side to side.  This base doesn't budge an inch.  It's also easy to get the car seat in and out of the base.  We also like the way that the straps buckle.  It's a harness with one buckle.  Easy in and easy out.  It also seems to be… read full review »

We registered for this car seat/stroller combo (G-Galore pattern) after alot of research on safety features and convenience items such as the one-handed collapse ability, cup holders, and drop down basket. — — It also surpassed alot of other car seats, with or without the stroller combination in that the car seat weight limit went to maximum of 30 lbs...most others are all 20 lb maximums.  What any reviewed failed to tell you was how heavy 30 lbs of baby plus the weight of the car seat (10 lbs itself) actually is and how infrequently you'd want to tote them both to and from… read full review »

I've always loved graco I could depend on them they were safeand I believe a great value for the money on most of their items so when I got pregnant for the first time I said I was gonna have the best for my baby and spent hundreds of dollars on graco car seat,stroller,pack-in-play,etc and now I only regret it!! My car seat is a pain in the rearend because when I try to tighten her straps it gets stuck and we have to take the car seat out hold the baby so she doesn't fall and practically turn it on it's side while she's in it because if you do it while she's out of it then it just gets stuck… read full review »

The Graco stroller was given to me as a gift from my registry.  The price was great, I didn't want to pick anything that was too expensive otherwise I probably won't receive it as a present.  The carseat was given to me used.  Which was fine, the less I spend the better and there's nothing wrong with used items.  The stroller was very easy to put together.  It is very sturdy, handled cracks and bumps well.  My son looked very comfortable in it.  I love the big basket underneath the seat, so did my mom when we went grocery shopping.  It… read full review »

The new Infant SafeSeat (Step 1) is one of the only infant car seats on the market that will accommodate a child rear-facing up to 30 lbs. and 32 inches tall. Thus, this car seat fits 97% of one-year-olds, which is very important because children must remain in a rear-facing car seat until they reach one year of age AND at least 20 lbs. The convenient stay-in-car base features an innovative belt lock-off which tightly secures the vehicle seatbelt for easy installation. One-hand dial adjustment on the base will also help ensure that you have the proper angle for installation. The patent… read full review »

I have only bought Graco car seats for my son for the past 7 years. They are very easy to use and affordable. My son loves his booster seat with the lights so he can read at night in the car. I love that I can take the cover off the car seat and throw it in the washer and I can place the cover back onto the car seat with ease. When you have a small child you never know when there may be an accident or when they may become sick. I have had a few over the past 7 years and I have had to take the cover off and wash the cover. I also loved my Graco stroller. My only complaint was that it was to… read full review »

I did ALOT of shopping around and review reading before finally making the purchase. We purchased the Quattro Travel system form babies r us. I love the comfort grip in the handle, as well as the stroller. it snaps essily in and out fo the base in the car (used with the LATCH system) it even fit in the back of my mom BMW spotrs convertible, (it's NOT one of the roomier syles) it goes in and out just as easily with the stroller and is safe it's not wobblu at all. The stroller is rather large  though so if you have a small trunk i would reccommend going to somewhrre like Babie r us and… read full review »

I am very happy with this car seat.  I do wish that I had done a little more research up front and had purchased a car seat/travel system that would accommodate up to 30 lbs and more length.  I will have to change carseats before my daughter is a year old.  That means that I will have to give up the convenience of the portable carseat before I want to. — The only other thing on the system that I don't care for is that the sun visor on the stroller is stationary.  Meaning that it is attached to the top of the stroller and you can't adjust it down beyond it's full… read full review »
