We purchased the Graco SnugRide Car Seat as part of the Travel System. It's the only infant car seat I had experience with, but I have to say I liked it. There were a few things I had problems with, such as when carrying the carrier part of the car seat. We rode the city bus a lot and would end up carrying just the carrier and held the stroller because we had to have it folded. The carrier was awkward and kept bumping into my legs, jostling my son around. I'm not sure if it was because the carrier was too bulky, or if it had to do with the handle position, because I have seen other car seats where the handle was parallel to the seat, and would be parallel to your body while holding it. On the plus side, the car seat went into and came out of the base easily, and the stroller was very lightweight (which is why I chose it). We have since given up the car seat, as my son has grown too big for it, but I refuse to part ways with the stroller because I love it so much. Truth be told, I didn't want to part with the car seat either, but I have no immediate plans for another baby and don't have the space to keep it. I do wish that the car seat was somehow convertable, so that it would have lasted longer, but who knows if that's even possible. Also, the carrier was heavy. The price was a little steep for me, $200 for the whole set. And the head support that came with it was useless.
