The Graco Snug ride is one of the most popular Infant car seats on the market since it is a “natural companion to any of the company's strollers.” Reviewers describe the Snugride as “highly rated for safety“, “affordable“, and “easy to carry and use.” Convenient features of the Snugride include ease of installation (even without a base) and the carrying baby from the car to the house or stroller in an easy transition. The harness is easy to use on a daily basis, yet “tedious to adjust because it requires re-threading.” Also, there is a “short window of use” due to the height/weight requirements as well as how heavy the seat becomes as baby grows. Great and easy to use, if a bit heavy when baby gets older

We were expecting twins and were given the car seats and the matching stroller as a gift. The car seats were great when the only thing that had to be done was click them into the base and go. The bases were easy to install or remove. My Mom and Dad bought me the Graco Snugride after it was recommended in their car seat safety class they took before I was born. Mom is a safety freak and had the car seat installation checked a month before I was due. Mom is so into safety she is always pointing out what parents are doing wrong on those baby shows on cable. The Graco Snugride is a great infant car seat. We used it with our stroller for the first 4 or 5 months. Our baby could have fit in the infant car seat longer, but we decided to move him to a convertible seat at that point. That said, the Graco Snugride is easy to use and very convenient. It's a safe seat and doesn't cost hundreds of dollars. The base is easy to install with either the seat belt or LATCH. I've had my SnugRide for some time now. I used it with my daughter and will now be using it for my son in just a few more weeks. I would not have bought any other car seat on the planet for either of them. I am a self proclaimed car seat Nazi...there is nothing more important than our children and their safety and in my opinion (and the opinion of Consumer Reports) this is one of the best car seats out there. I honestly bought this carseat because I got a great deal at Target on it. It had been previously purchased and so I bought it as-is. I was thrilled when I got home and saw the cute pink toile pattern on it. I also liked the silver base as opposed to the white I had for my older daughter's car seat. The silver doesn't get as noticably dirty. The pad is very thin and slips off easily, which is why it didn't totally surprise me to find out that the pad has been recalled because it can deteriorate and the kids can suffocate on it. I purchased this car seat after a friend recommended it. We had an infant car seat that did not have a base with our first child. It seemed like the next best thing to sliced bread. However, when I bought this car seat, with a base...I thought I'd died and gone to heaven! I never knew it could be so easy to get my baby in and out of the car. If you are looking for a great carseat at a nice price then this is the seat for you. My son is special needs and doesn't have much body control. We tried NUMEROUS carseats before finding this Graco seat. This particular seat has the memory foam padding and is awesome! It is hard to describe with words how amazing it is to be able to put an infant in their car seat and then take them still in the car seat and bring them shopping, put them in the stroller etc... My daughter took naps in this car seat when we'd arrive home and she'd fallen asleep in the car I didn't have to wake her to get her out of the car. this is the best car seat very secure when you put your child in it and makes you feel safe to be putting your child in it. Easy to remove from base and also to put in car. The straps are easy to adjust as the child gets older. and the head suppor that comes with the car seat also adjust as you child gets older. This carseat is great! I found that it was the easiest to tote around with me. I took my son out to the store, the mall, on trips and this was the best. Definitly buy a base for each car. It will be SO annoying to always have to move that. It's harder to install the smaller your car is, of course. But once it's in. You can move your baby from car to stroller to cart to car simply! We got the MetroLite combo for our son. I love that the carseat came with the stroller and attached so easy to it.
