Graco SnugRide - great safety, pretty good features

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I really liked the safety features of the Graco SnugRide, and the fact that it was pretty easy to install, relatively speaking.  Liked having an easy-in-easy-out base that unclipped gently and fairly quietly so I wouldn't wake up my sleeping baby (who woke up easily).  I liked the color selections for this carseat when I was picking it out, and it was easy to find a pattern that could be used for either a girl or a boy.

It was pretty easy to clean the carseat, and anything that could have stained came out of it, which was nice.  It didn't seem too heavy to me; I could use it for quite awhile.  Then again, my daughter was on the light end of things.  She seemed prett...

We love our Graco snug ride car seat. It holds the baby very comfortably, is not too heavy to carry and will fit into most cars easy as pie! We use our snug ride car seat  every day so we wanted something comfortable and stylish for him. we purchased a baby trend snap and go stroller frame and the 2 work perfect together.  All the benefits of a travel system and very light and compact. the car seat cover comes off easily for washings and should be hung to dry, I was even able to wash the canopy form the seat. the caonpy is large enough to protect baby from the elements outsie and while you are shopping it can keep unwanted people from touching grabbing at baby. Nice feature. The graco snug ride car seats retail  for around $100 and is very well worth the price for safety and convenience. It was a good $100 spent. hte seat does expire in 5 years which is pretty average I thnk for a carseat. Thanks Graco for keeping my baby safe!

Graco Snugride is a classic product

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I chose the **Graco Snugride Infant Car Seat **based on many comparisons and safety ratings that I had researched on line.  The **Graco Snugride Infant Car Seat **comes in many color schemes, but I really like the Sterling.  It is a nice neutral gray that matches our car interior with pretty Robin's Egg Blue accents that I really like.  I have a daughter, but I think this is totally feminine.  I found this to be one of the most affordable baby carrier style car seats with some of the best safety ratings.  My daughter was born in the fall, so having the **Graco Snugride Infant Car Seat **was really helpful while she was still tiny and the weather was cold in the North...

Graco Snug Ride is Great for out Snug Bug

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

The Graco Snugride was chosen for our little daughter because of its ease of use and high safety rating. I read about many car seats before deciding to purchase this one. It has a 5 point harness and I also like the level on the side that tells you if your seat is installed properly.  We do have a mini van and having her seat buckled in the shoulder strap does not work well.  Over time, no matter how tightly we put her seat in, it will start to tip.  A middle section for installation would be better for this seat.  It does seem comfortable for her.

Our seat is in the popular brown and pink flowered pattern.  I just bought a separate head support to put in the seat w...

Fantastic Car Seat!!

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

Love, Love, Love, Love this car seat!! Before my son was born we purchased another, less expensive Graco Pooh travel set from a popular retail store and liked it but saw the same set everywhere we went. I decided to spend the money and upgrade to a nicer set and settled on this one. I had no idea how nice it was when I decided to purchase it I just like the fabric pattern really. When I got it out of the box I was so pleasantly surprised. It was bigger, more soft, and had better safety features than the cheaper Graco I had such as the side impact technology. The fabric is a soft microfiber type fabric. It has a simple pull strap to tighten the chest straps down which is awesome. I got so tir...

Great car seat!! Graco is a great brand to go with!

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

We got our SnugRide as a baby shower present from my parents. We went with Graco because of the Safety. While it did take awhile to get it installed into our car because we had no idea what we were doing (even with reading the instruction booklet) it is very snug in the seat, and it fits perfectly in our car. Our 4 week old daughter fits well in it, (But her head was a little small for it when we first came home from the hospital, but thats nothing you can't fix with a rolled up burp rag). We bought neutral colors that way we can use this with our next child. As a preschool teacher, I asked many of my parents about their experiences with car seats, and Graco was the name I heard quite often. Graco is a name that you can trust, and know that you are getting your moneys worth. I liked how it was easy to register and if our carrier was ever to be recalled, they would email me right away to get it replaced or fixed.

Melbourne version was TERRIBLE

Overall
Rated 2 out of 5

I loved my Graco SnugRide carseat I used with my first two children so when I needed to purchase a new carseat for my third child I knew exactly which one to get.  I headed to Target and found the best price on a single carseat instead of an entire travel system and loved the blue, green, and brown print.  I did not love the way the handle would lock a click or two before it should.  I would try to lock the handle in the carrying position and it would stop a click or two before it should have so I'd try to pick up the carseat and my baby would be leaning forward.  Good thing I ALWAYS buckle her in or she'd be sliding right out the front onto the floor....

Good for what it is

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

I actually got this carseat for free from some reward points I had, so I didn't have to purchase it.  Based on that, I don't even really know how much this particular carseat costs, but most carseats seem to be way overpriced.  That being said, I had used a pumpkin seat for my son that I believe was a graco, but it expired and I was unable to use it for my daughter, that's where this one comes in.  I think with all infant seats, they are great when the baby is a newborn and light, but as they grow and get more heavy, so does the burden of carrying them.  I will say this seat is easy to take in and out of the car and the base is really easy to install.  Compared with ...

Great Infant Seat

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

When I was pregnant with my twins, I was making a baby registry and came across the Graco SnugRide Infant Car Seat. I already knew that I wanted a Graco MyRide 65 for when they were older, but the Graco SnugRide seemed a good choice for a small baby. I knew my twins would most likely be preterm, and therefore, tiny. I really loved the colors on the Graco SnugRide Infant Car Seats and had a hard time picking one!

Safety is very important to me. I like that the Graco SnugRide Infant Car Seat fits infants up to 32 pounds. Theoretically, my twins could have used theirs for almost another year! We got their convertible car seats when they were about 16 months old, and at the time they were still...

great simple seat

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

We recieved the Graco Snugride Infant Car Seat - Family Tree as a gift for our baby. We didn't really think we would use it much as we had a really nice convertible seat. We planned on using this one as a spare for other vehicles. Well, once we had our daughter, we realized that she didn't care for the convertible seat so we tried this one out. She used to cry when we went anywhere which is hard because we live so far from everything. Well, in this seat she does so much better! It is a very comfortable seat and designed with small babies in mind. Even though our convertible was made to accomadate a newborn, it doesn't specialize in newborns. This seat has an easy to install base and a fairly lightweight seat. I love the seat because it keeps our family sane during car rides. It is easy to buckle the baby in and to adjust the straps correctly. The straps don't twist or tanlge. It fits my baby girl very well and she seems to like this seat. ****

Graco Car Seat

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

I've been really happy with this car seat for my child.  I haven't had any problems with it yet and Graco seems to be a really good brand.  I've been checking their website for recalls lately and they really don't have many compared to other breands so that makes me feel good.  The straps on this car seat are really easy to adjust and don't bother my kid at all.  The car seat (even though it is an infant seat) actually has a lot of growing room in it.  I'm really glad I don't have to buy a new seat very often.  I really like this seat because it is just the right size to clip on to most shopping carts and comes with a base that stays in the car so I don't have to belt it in all the time.  I would definitely reccomend this seat to anyone needing a car seat, especailly those who have never used a car set before.  This one is really easy to use, safe, and lasts a long time giving lots of room to grow in.

This is a great infant seat

Overall
Rated 5 out of 5

My wife and I recieved this car seat as a baby shower present and it has worked out so well for us. We didn't pick this out but we have been very happy with this car seat. It was easy to get set up in the car. You can set it up witht the metal hooks or with a seat belt. It works easily with either the middle seat or one on the side of the car. It was really easy to set the baby in the car seat and set the straps to the right length. Being able to detach the car seat from the base is very important and this car seat doesn't let you down. It uses a easy to lift red handle on the back to detatch it from the base then you simply pull the car seat up and out. It would have been nice if this came with a second base though as most people have two cars now a days it is so nice to be able to just take it from one car and put the baby and the car seat in the other car without having to get the base all set up again,

The Graco car seat was lightweight & never gave us a problem.

Overall
Rated 3 out of 5

Our previous babies had Evenflo car seats, hated them!  They were heavy with what seemed to be a thicker plastic and toward the end they alway got stuck in the base.  When I go the Graco car seat I thought, very lighweight and thinner plastic.  Was not so sure that it was all crash worthy.  So, I had it checked by a local car seat inspector, it passed and had no recalls.  We moved the base in and out of cars, a lot.  The safty strap made it easier to attach, when the car had the latches available.  Easy to find extra based, for around 30 dollars.  Always, slid and clicked right into place.  Very nutral design.  Non-interlocking buckles between the legs, made it easier to buckle when the kid is fussing and don't want to be put into a car seat.  Only had two slots for over the sholder, could have used one lower.  Came with a sun visor and a head support.  We never used them, but they are standard.  Never had a problem with the car seat.

Very well made infant carrier

Overall
Rated 4 out of 5

I love this carseat. We bought it for our second child after being very disappointed with our evenflo from our first child. It fit well in our van and it fit in our stroller that was given to us as a gift with our first child. The patterns were even the same. It was a bit heavy but had good support for 2 of our children as we have used it for our 3rd baby as well. The sun shade works well and doesn't fall off. The cover is easy to remove and clean. The base is awesome too. I love that you can adjust the angle on the base instead of trying to figure out how to get the right angle with a rolled up towel or foam pool noodle. The base is easy to instal with both a seat belt or the latch system. Our babies loved to sleep in this carrier. It was a second bed for them especially at colicy times. The 5-point harness doesn't twist easily but it is kinda hard to get little arms in and out sometimes.
