Graco SafeSeat —

I think this seat is the best buy I could have found. It had separate bases for different cars, snapped into the stroller, and was an infant carrier. I loved bringing the seat in and out of the house (it was always nice and warm in the winter, and cool in the summer) and this was light enough to continue when my daughter was heavier. My two-year-old daughter is still rearfacing, and used this rearfacing seat until recently because the weight limit was so much higher. I thought this seat was a little hard to wash, and with the Heirloom pattern, I needed to often, since it was black and white. However, it was well worth the trouble. The straps were easy enough to change when it was time to move them up (although I had nothing to compare it to- I love the Evenflo strap adjustments on our new seat) and I felt great about how tight and loose I could make the straps. I never felt worried about getting her in tight enough, since I could easily loosen them to get her out. Had they been fixed, I'd have never been able to tighten her in like I did because I couldn't get her arms out without loosening the straps. It was just a very easy seat to deal with on a day-to-day basis. I loved everything about it, including how it snapped into her stroller. It was so simple to move around. In the winter, I could easily strap my daughter in, while in the warmth of the kitchen, take her outside at the very last minute, drive to where ever it is that we were headed, snap her into the stroller in less than 30 seconds, and be on our way. Coming home, I just popped her out of the car, brought her in, and was able to get her out inside the house again. Until my new seat, I never realized what a pain it would be to strap her in while reaching over the seat, to have the seat be hot/cold, ect. I loved that the Safeseat made my life so easy as a new mom! We reluctantly switched to a larger rearfacing seat very recently, but I loved the Safeseat and was sad to put it away.
