While I was pregnant, my sister-in-law helped me register. One thing she really pushed was the Graco travel system. She was right. It's a carseat, carseat base and stroller. If more than one parent or grandparent or babysitter is going to have the baby, I would recommend buying another base for their car, but just one worked for our family.

The carseat is adjustable as the baby grows from tiny infant to bigger baby. If your child falls sleep in the car, simply take out the carseat from the car base and snap it into the stroller. We also use the travel system if we are going out to eat and know they won't have a car seat sling. We don't want to put our child on the floor and sometimes putting the seat on the table isn't a good idea.

The stroller is compactable and fits easily into the trunk. It's very easy to open and collapse with a twist of the handle and a tilt forward or backward.

Our baby is still little and is just beginning to sit up, so we have yet to use just the stroller, but I know it will be great.

I hope this gives you an idea of the travel system. I can't imagine having a baby without one.

Oh, for safety purposes, remember to place the carseat in the backseat facing backward and if possible, in the very middle of the backseat. We went to our local fire department for them to install the base.

The Graco travel system was bought for our first child.  We had shopped around just a bit, were on a budget, and the only thing we had heard was to not buy Evenflo.   Apparently Evenflo has the tendency for weak wheels that break off the base of the stroller.  So Graco it was.  The stroller is big and bulky, but does have some nice features.  I like the cup holders and snap compartment by the handles.  I like the tray for snacks and a drink for baby, plus you can lift it up and flip it over if you don't want the tray.  For newborns, I like the pop-up part by the feet to make a small little basket for sleeping during naps and keep little feet contained and warm in the fall/winter.  I like how far back the seat reclines.  I like the 5-point harness, with the option to remove the shoulder straps so the child can grow with it.  The size of the basket was good, not too small and could hold a large diaper bag and shopping bags.  The stroller was a bit heavy and bulky to store in our apartment, so I sold it before I had our second child.  If I were to do it all over again, I would buy a car seat and the small metal stroller base, or buy a sleek jogging stroller that the car seat could snap on to.  But truly, the travel system did work well and was probably worth the initial purchase.

A must have for every new mom!

By

from USA

Comments about Graco Passage Travel System Stroller:

I have used my Graco Travel system constantly for the past 2 years. I loved the fact that I could easily take my infant from the car to the store and she never felt the cold air and I would not wake her if she was sleeping! She was able to remain in the car seat until she was one.

Durability
We have used the stroller almost daily for two years and it works wonderfully! I love how I can still use it for my toddler!

Versatility
It is easy to use from infant to toddler! When the baby is able to still be carried in the carseat, it easy to just pull out the stroller and click in the car seat without disturbing the baby. The stroller is still big enough for a toddler to be comfortable in. It even has a tray we have used multiple times for snacks!

Ease of Use
I find this stroller very easy to get out of the back of my van and pop open. Some strollers are such a hassle, but I have been very happy with the ease of the Graco travel system strollers!

Safety
When properly installed, the car seat meets all safety standards. The stroller is very safe and comfortable for the baby.

Ease of Cleaning
We have used the stroller a lot for snacks and it has been very easy to wipe down and clean.

Graco is the only brand for me

By

from Dickson, TN

Comments about Graco Passage Travel System Stroller:

We bought this stroller 3 years ago when my daughter was born. I am still so happy with this stroller and carseat combo!

First, I love the one-hand release on the stroller. It is super easy to do and is great that you can do it while holding a child. It is easy to set-up and take-down for quick loading.

There are two cup holders and a middle compartment with a lid, which is good for cellphones/keys/etc. The handles are padded which makes them comfortable for long walking distances.

We have used this stroller for 3 years and have never had a problem with anything falling apart or anything. The wheels still have good tread and are still in good condition.

The carseat that goes with the stroller is a nice way to be able to transport baby without getting him/her out every time you have to unload. The carrier is rather heavy when you add a larger baby, but much easier to carry than other brands. The straps are easy to adjust when you get the hang of them, and the handle makes carrying the seat quite easy.

The carseat snaps easily into the stroller for use when the baby is smaller.

We bought an extra base for our other car, which was definitely worth it.

All in all, this is a great, durable stroller with great ease of use.

Ease of Cleaning
It's kind of a pain to get the covers to come off the carseat and stroller, but I don't have anything to compare it to so I'm not sure if it is easier or harder than other brands.

I couldn't ask for more out of a stroller!

By

Comments about Graco Passage Travel System Stroller:

When I registered for this stroller I made my decision based on price and how it looked. I am so happy that I got this stroller! I am a very active mom, I walk 3 miles a day and go on outings at least 4 times a week. What does this mean? It means that I use this stroller a lot! It has been great through it all. I have no problems when walking with it, it fits into the trunk of my little car, and the detachable car-seat with base is awesome! It makes the stroller a bonus since I can take my daughter from the car and just snap it onto the stroller without having to pull her out of one and into the other, which we all know babies hate! The only con to the car-seat is that the babies grow out of it rather quickly... I am a pretty short woman and was worried that the stroller was going to be heavy and awkward to put into my car, but it isn't at all! Overall it is a great deal and the quality is much better than what I expected for the price range! I will be saving mine for my next baby to use as well!!

The best Graco Passage Travel System Ever!!!

By

from Williamsburg, VA

Comments about Graco Passage Travel System Stroller:

I received the Graco Passage Travel System as a baby shower gift. The system consists of a car seat, base and stroller. I must say I just simply love this Graco travel system. The car seat latches wonderfully into the car and it was easy installation which was AWESOME. When using the stroller, the car seat fits great on top of the the stroller which is great especially for newborns. I love that fact that I can push the stroller around the mall or outside for a brisk walk and I am able to see my daughter. Also, the Graco Passage Travel System is easy to open; it has been designed to open with just using one hand. The travel system creates a smooth ride for the baby. If your newborn or baby is like my daughter then it will put them right to sleep due to the smooth ride in the stroller. I must say I don't know what I would do without the Graco Passage Travel System. The travel system is safe, secure and fashionable equipment and I would recommend it to ANYONE.

Sufficient but would not choose again

By

from Aliquippa, PA

Comments about Graco Passage Travel System Stroller:

The car seat does not tighten by a strap in the front. It is very difficult to tighten and loosen the straps to get the baby in and out. Basically impossible since we had to turn it over to looesen/tighten. The shade is nice and big, though and you can put it way down to really keep the sun out.

The stroller part was ok, but the way you have to open and close is something you have to twist on the handle and I pinched my hand good quite a few times. You definitely need 2 hands to operate.

Borrowed another car seat from a friend because it had 3 bases and it was WORLDS different with the strape pull in the front. Actually debated getting rid of this even though we plan to have more kids. Definitely not work the money.

Love this set!

By

Comments about Graco Passage Travel System Stroller:

I bought a Graco travel system when I was pregnant with my daughter and have never regretted making this purchase! I love that I got eerything I needed in one package. The system came with the stroller, car seat, and car base. I then ordered two more extra bases for the car seat for my husband's car and my mother-in-law's car. I loved that the base stayed in the car, and you could remove the carrier with just the push of a button without having to unstrap the baby. My daughter would fall asleep on car rides, and it made it easy to get her out of the car without disturbing or waking her. Then we could just sit the carrier right on top of the stroller and be on our way! I loved that I could block her off from the wind and the sun if needed between the two hoods. The stroller rolls very easy with 6 big wheels. It even rolls well on gravel which is so great! The stoller also folds flat wiith a push of a button and turn of the handle. You can do it one handed which helps out so much when you have your hands full! The stroller has a great basket on the bottom and a reclining seat as well. Another great thing is that the stroller is still going strong after 2 1/2 years!

Great Product for less money

By

from Little Valley, NY

Comments about Graco Passage Travel System Stroller:

The Graco Passage Travel System is one of the greatest travel systems that I have come across. Graco has been a name that I have widely heard and have been recommended to buy from others.  I now recommend it to others as while because it seems to be comfortable enough for the baby, it is safe, easy to use and they come in many different colors.  They are a Great Brand and compared to the higher priced competitors seem to do more for a smaller amount of amount.  That in itself states how good of a product it is.  With the way the economy is now, mothers have to look for cheaper products to use for their newborn/toddler children and I highly recommend that they look at Graco before anything else.  It is a great product for less.  I used the travel system for a long time and in fact I still use the stroller to this day and my daughter is now going on 4.  I think I used the car seat part of it til she was over six months until she outgrow it.  So Great Product for a Great Price.
