We have 3 children and all of them used the same Graco Pack 'N Play Portable Playard (specifically the one with a Bassinet). The price is very reasonable especially if you get a lot of use from it. When my first child was really small, the size of a crib would overwhelm her and she would feel more comfortable using the Pack N Play bassinet to sleep in. The product is fantastic since it's versatile as sort of a baby "cot" and as a playpen when the children get bigger. It comes with a toy bar that the babies would find interesting at first but not for long because it doesn't really do much. The Pack N Play is easy to set up. Although after years of use, it can take a while to lock the bars when setting them up. The mat is a standard mat too that you can easily find covers for. It can be heavy to lug around but it is portable nonetheless. When the children get bigger, I think the limit for the bassinet is 30lbs, the bassinet can be removed and the pack n play can be used as a playpen.
