As a first time mother, I was happy to learn that this bassinett was very easy to set up and take down, and met my needs for my baby.
On one side of the unit there is a diaper station for changing. This was very convenient during the night for me, as we had the baby in the bassinett next to our bed. Some models have a tray attachment at the end with mesh "cup holder" type areas for holding diapers, ointment, wipes, etc. Other models have a snap on diaper caddy that hung on the end.
The unit was wide enough that I could easily lay the baby "width-wise" instead of lenghtwise on the bed when we first brought her home.
One end has wheels and it is lightweight and easy to move around.
There is a mobile included, but it is not motorized. One of our units also included a music module, but we never used it.
We had put the bassinett away for a few months when she moved into her crib, but now that she is sitting up and playing, I set the unit up again, this time without the bed portion, and she is using it as a playpen.
We liked this unit so much that we bought a second one to keep at Grandma's house for when she babysits.
