We bought the Graco Nautilus for my 5 year old daughter to use in my husband's van. We have the Britax Marathon in my van, and we really like it. However, it is quite expensive, so when we found this seat by Graco, we decided to buy it. I have only seen them at Walmart around us.

This seat is for children...

We bought the Graco Nautilus for my son when he was about 10 months old thinking that it would last him forever. One of the reasons we chose it was because the coloring was good for either sex and we planned on having more kids. However, it turned out bulkier than I thought, and yeah it has a cup holder...

My son outgrew his other convertable carseat when he was almost three.  I was not comfortable with the thought of him being out of a five point harness at that time, so I began to shop around.  The Graco Natilus 3-in-1 is an awesome seat, he will fit in the harness for probably another year ( he will be almost five years old then), then it transfers to a high back booster, and finally to a regular booster.  This was the best $150 that I have spent, and I will never have to buy another carseat. I highly reccommend this seat, and the price is actually a deal considering it is three seats in one. ...

I just bought this car seat for my 1 year old.  She is small for her age and just hit 20lbs, so we still had her in her rear facing infant seat until now.  Being budget conscious, I did a lot of research for a car seat that had all of the features I wanted, but was still not too expensive.  We are very happy with the Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 car seat so far.  In a lot of other reviews, the main complaint was that it was not reclined enough for kids to fall asleep.  My daughter has not slept in the seat yet, but it looks like she could easily fall asleep in it.  She looks very comfortable in...

This is a great car seat.  My daughter is very comfortable in it.  It will grow with her so the cost is not that bad when you consider how long you will use it.  The material is great because it cleans easily and the colors hide away a lot.  I would give it 5 stars if it was easier to install.  Once you hook it to the car, it's a hassle to move it to another car.  Plan on leaving in one car and you will be fine.  It does tilt a little but not enough to keep the child's head position properly when they fall asleep.  You need a pillow or something to hold it up.  Out side from that, it's... read full review »

The cool thing about this carseat is that it can take the child up to eight years of age. The Graco Nautilis is a 3 in 1 carseat. It is forward facing so the child has to be at least a year old and 20 pounds heavy. The child can be in the harness system up to 65 lbs. and after that can switch to the actual carseat belt up to 100 lbs. After 40 lbs. i believe the child can use the carseat as a backless booster. The carseat also has steal reinforced backing adding another safety feature to its long list.

So I did a LOT of reseach before buying this, read multiple message boards, then to the store to look at them, etc. This replaced a britax that was passed down to DD #2 for my rather large 4 yo girl(40lbs, 40inches)I want to keep her harnessed for as long as I can. I finally decided to go for it b/c of
1)price (though it really wasn't an object) but I am a big fan of bang for your buck,
2)sturdiness, i was never a fan of graco until i bought this seat. It's got a nice weight, sturdy frame.
3)comfort, memory foam! DD loves it, she sleeps very comfortably in it without slumping over like she used to....

I am so glad I went with the Graco Nautilus. My 19 month old son loves his new car seat. WE are already planning on purchasing the same car seat for our  one month old when he is old enough to be in it. This car seat is great! It is heavy duty and very safe seat. I love that I do not have to purchase another car seat when my son reaches the point that he does not need to be in a 4 point harnes. The car seat is not very big and it does not take up alot of room like most covertable car seats. This car seat converts to a booster all you would need to do is take the back of the seat off. The car...

We bought the Nautilas 3 in 1 car seat for our newest grandson.  It is much more comfortable for him than the one we used for the 1st four months. He is now a year old and doesn't mind riding  in this model.  There is no crying to get out or constantly wiggling around. He is very content for the whole hour long ride to and from our house or for long trips to the closest major city for our shopping expeditions. There are more spots to clip toys for him so they don't constantly fall to the floor like usually happens. It doesn't take up as much room in the backseat either so his brother...

I love this car seat I brought two for my two older boys two summers ago when they were 5 & 4 years old so the they would be in a five point harness.  We go off-roading and to the sand dunes with our truck so they needed to stay in a car seat as long as possible. They are still in them my oldest is now 7 and at 54lbs. he can still fit, at least until he's 8 and then his can be passed down to the next child in line.  I have taken them apart twice to wash  very simple the instructions in the manual are accurate and easy to follow.  Not fun to change to another vehicle because of the weight of...

I went back and forth betweem the Nautalis and a Britax Frontier as my 2 year old is already at the hight and weight limits for his old car seat.  I chose this so I can keep him in a harness until 65 pounds.  I like it alot and my son seems to like it as well! He really likes his cup holder and likes to store his toys in the little compartment.  It was easy to adjust it and I like how there are guides right on the carseat itself to make sure he is using it properly.  Even if this and the britax were the same price I think I would have still goteen this one as I like it better.  It was an...

I was looking for a seat for my 40 lb four year old that wasn't just a booster.  I want to keep him in a harness as long as possible because it is safer than a booster.  The Graco Nautilus offers just that.  Once I am ready for him to move to a booster it converts to a booster with a back and then to a backless booster.  My son loves the built-in cup holder and what he calls the secret compartments.  They are small storage areas perfect for small toys.  It was easy to install and is easy to adjust the straps.  I would recoemmend this to anyone, it is a great seat!

I absolutely love this car seat. I bought this for my three year old because he outgrew the previous carseat that was supposed to be the only seat I ever had to buy. The carseat I had (Alpha Omega) only harnessed to 40 lbs, and he has to be harnessed until age 4 in my state. If my daughter has this same problem I will be purchasing another Nautilus. My son loves the seat. He says it is comfortable and he loves the cup holder. Couldn't ask for more.

The Graco Nautilus is the prefect car seat for our family.  The kids love the cute cup holder and secret compartments under the arm rests.  I love the fact that it's super safe, has a 5pt harness upto 65lbs, and backless booster upto 100lbs, and is the easiest car seat I have ever had to clean.  Simple to adjust height as well.  Great carseat for a great price!

This is a MUST buy for any safety conscious parent. It's a 5 point harness to 65 pounds, high back booster, then a backless booster. Once your child is forward facing (over 20 pounds MINIMUM) this is the LAST car seat you'll need. It's easy to install, lightweight and very safe. A great value for the price, which is very reasonable. I tell everyone about this seat!
