Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat Review

This Graco carseat is a great buy. There are very few affordable carseats that have a five point harness up to such a large weight; 65lbs. This is primarily what sold me on this carseat. I didn't want to pay several hundreds for the top rated version that has this feature. The Graco also had the built in cup holder, which was very important to have for my child. It has really helped my child to have a snack cup or sippy cup right there in the car. The seat itself is very comfortable to my child and the versatility of the seat will allow us to use it for years.

There are two downsides to this seat, however. First of all, the seat cover is very difficult to remove. You have to actually take the seat out of the car to remove the covers on the seat. I was extremely surprised at this. One spilled drink turned into hours of work. Removing the seat from the car, taking the cover off required multiple steps, washing, drying, and then re-attaching the cover and re-doing the installation of the seat into the car. Not fun.

The second downside is that my child can easily loosen the harness straps while in the car. It is not limitied to parental assistance. Not safe feature.

Overall, would recommend the seat.
