What do reviewers have to say about the Graco Metrolite Stroller? “It’s just everything you need out of an everyday stroller, and absolutely nothing more.” Minus trendy frills, the Metrolite is inexpensive, “lightweight“ and “very easy to push” - though it does get tougher to push as baby gets bigger. Able to accommodate those with compact vehicles, the Graco Metrolite is compact and “easy to fold up and load and unload from the trunk.” Many parents note using the Metrolite as “a travel system with the SnugRide car seat” where you can just “slip [the] car seat on top and go.” In the top of the favorite features list is the well padded handle that suits both short and tall parents. “Comparable to the Peg Perego with half the price tag,” with the Graco Metrolite Stroller you get “all the stroller you need without spending too much money.”

This is the best stroller! I love that it is smaller than most strollers, so it's not bulky, yet it has all the great features of the big guys. The storage basket is big and I love the adjustable handle. It is easy to buckle, fold and unfold, it's not too heavy, it has a large canopy and it fits a snugride infant carseat. And the best feature of all is that although the basket appears to be hard to get to when the seat is reclined, there is a drop to the back of the basket that makes it accessable. I bought this stroller, after extensive comparison shopping. I was looking for a good stoller, that was light weight, fairly compact and reasonably priced. I also was not looking to spend alot on it since I will not be having any more children. and I got everything I was looking for in this stroller. I got this stroller in the pattern that matches my carseat on Clearance. I paid $79.99 marked down from $119.99. I was very happy to find this bargain! — The first thing that I like about this stroller is that the handle bar is higher, making it more comfortable for taller people to push. I bought this stroller for my son 2 years ago for its lighter weight (18.9 lbs). It has all the comfort of a standard stroller. I like the G collection design and the materials. It has a smooth ride and it is very easy to maneuver. — Cons: The storage basket is not easily accessible especially if the stroller is reclined although it has lower and load feature. We purchased this stroller in a travel system when we were expecting our son. He is now 16 months old and we use this weekly. It stays in the trunk of my car and is easy to fold up and load and unload from the trunk. It is much lighter than other strollers we tried out. I also liked the adjustable handle which works well for taller parents. I can't praise this stroller enough! I was one of those "soon to be moms" frequenting the aisles of Babies R Us, pushing around al the strollers until I found the right one. This was it...one that looked comfy, yet rolled and turned easily, could browse the "often too small" aisles at the mall, one that folded quickly, was light enough to pick up, and one that didn't take up my ENTIRE trunk space. i do not like straps to secure the baby. there are 4 straps you have to attach to the main buckle and it is very cumbersome, especially when you have a screaming child that you need to strap down and get moving. the cup holder for the baby is too small to hold his sippy cups. the cup holders for the parents are adequate sized. the stroller is compact and light, however the closing mechanism under the handle broke and my husband had to rig it so it will collapse. the seat is not very comfortable for the child and it does not sit up all the way or lay down all the… read full review »

I looked into various brands and price ranges and had settled on a apeg perego when i came across the graco metro lite - it is comparable to the peg perego with half the price tag. Graco's stroller has a larger basket underneath and a more versatile organizer above (including digital clock and thermometer that I don't really use often). The stroller weighs about 25lbs which is bulky but do-able and can carry up to a 50 lb child without the wheels sounding like your hauling 100 lb child! This was exactly what I was looking for this time around. There is a gap in ages between my first and second child, so the stroller I had the first time around was needing to be replaced. My sister bought this stroller when she was having her first child. She also bought an umbrella stroller. Since it was much easier to use the umbrella stoller this stoller only was used when going to walk around the mall or do things like that (which wasnt very often). I say she used the stoller maybe 10-15 times. Then one day we went to take it out of the van so we could walk around the mall and just as I was putting my niece into it the wheel fell off. I really like this stroller. First of all, it is very pretty (yes it is more for a girl). I love the fact that the car seat is actually secured in the stroller so no one can come by and just take it out and run off with the baby. The wheels make it really easy to go through just about anything. It is very easy to clean also. I don't even know where to begin! I absolutely adore this stroller. I am now on my 3rd child with the same stroller and it still looks like new and rides the same as it did with the first! the ride is never bumpy, it's light weight, fits in the car easily and it will fit in a small car as well - it's certainly not bulky - it has storage underneath, cause lord knows - us moms need storage as well as room for baby things.
