I bought the Graco Lovin Hug Swing for each one of my sons. My first son had very difficult sleeping patterns for the first few months, and this swing saved my sanity! He would have trouble falling asleep unless he was feeding or in motion, and driving around the block at 4 am quickly got old! I relied on this swing to help me get a little sleep. My son would sleep for the longest periods of time in this swing, and it worked wonders for my second son as well. It has 6 levels of speed to choose from, as well as some pre-programmed music options. I loved that you could choose from music, white noise, a sound that resembled what they would hear in the womb and so on so you could customize it and use what works for your child. There is also a tray on the front, which clicks in to hold the child in. It has compartments in it for snacks or toys, which is also great, and the back of the seat is adjustable from laying back for sleeping, to sitting upright for eating or playing. The downside in my experience is the battery usage. It takes 3 D cell batteries, and with consistent usage, they need to be replaced often. It also made a bit of a noise with the motor running, but being able to sleep is well-worth the sacrifice. If you need to move the swing. the base collapses to make it more compact for easier storage or moving. I loved this swing and would recommend it to new parents whose children have sleeping troubles!
