The Lauren crib is relatively inexpensive (under $200) for a budget conscious mommy. I ordered it online through Walmart and had it shipped to the store for pickup. I came home and was able to assemble it by myself. It took a total of two hours to put together. The only items needed were a screwdriver and mallet. There are three height levels for the mattress. It is absolutely beautiful. The style is more modern because it can be disassembled to use as a headboard for a twin bed. It can also be made into a daybed. I am expecting my second child in December so although I have not used the crib yet, I am thrilled to have the Lauren crib for my son. One drawback is that there is no plastic on the front for a teething baby. The front of the crib comes down for easier access to the baby and I did notice that making it come down is not that hard. This, however, could be an issue when the baby is able to stand up on his own. I will have to watch out for this in the future.
