Graco DuoGlider Double Stroller Review Summary

Graco DuoGlider is a double stroller for use with infants, toddlers or preschoolers. It can be used with up to two infant carriers or roomy enough that an older child and infant can stroll along together. With lots of storage and a big basket, parent reviewers can get lots of shopping done and take everything with them they need to keep their children happy and entertained. One parent reviewer says, “this stroller makes it nice to carry everything and still leave your hands free.” Another parents states, “unlike most other double strollers it did not feel like it was a limo,” but maneuvered well. Some problems with the stroller include the placement of the canopy which may cover the cup holder, but when the canopy is open it provides your sleeping baby with much needed privacy and sun shade. Although the Graco DuoGlider is fairly hefty, Rymor says, “I love how easy it is to fold up and it folds up surprisingly small for being a double stroller.” Overall, parents are thrilled with the inexpensive Graco DuoGlider Stroller and look forward to using it when traveling, shopping or just out walking. I have "Irish Twins" two children just a little over a year apart. This can make travel anywhere pretty crazy and with one child going one way and one the other plus all the packages, diaper bags, and toys a good twin stroller was necessary. I purchased the Graco Duo Glider - Jungle Adventure Stroller....

I have to make a confession about my stroller. I have had the Graco Duoglider for over a year, and I have opened it and/or closed it on my own, unassisted maybe twice. Both times, my children and innocent passers-by were exposed to a string of expletives and I could actually feel my blood boil.

That could...

I have used this stroller probably close to everyday for the past 1 1/2 years.  Seriously.  After I gave birth to my daughter in January 2007, I became an avid walker to try to shed pounds.  I walked close to 2 miles everyday with her in the back section, which lays down completely and is GREAT for a newborn, and my son in the front.  The advertisements say that an infant carseat can snap into the back section, but I never could figure out how to get mine in.  I thought I had a compatible one, but maybe not?  I love this stroller and it has stood up to some serious use!  It is very durable... review »

We just got rid of our DuoGlider recently because our middle child is four and we assumed that she would be an independent walker wherever we went.  Well, mostly she is, but sometimes she wants a ride!  No big deal, except now we only have a single stroller for our 10 month old!  Our model was purchased in late 2004, and was still together and in decent shape when we got rid of it in early 2008.  It made it 3 1/2 years with a LOT of use!  Our oldest hit the weight limit at 2 1/2, but we kept using it because we needed it, and the stroller held up SO well!  We really half expected it to kinda... review »

I would recommend to any parents that if they have the time and patience, shop around at stores that offer a wide selection of strollers, and test drive them with your kids.  What works for one famiy, may not work for another.  My husband and I tried all kinds of strollers at Target, Babies R Us, and Baby Depot (and maybe even some other stores, I can't remember), and finally decided to get this stroller.

We first got this stroller when our oldest was 2 1/2 and our (now) middle child was 3 months old.  We were hoping to find a stroller where we could still use our car seat from the original...

I bought the Graco Duo Glider - Jungle Adventure Stroller. It is a little on the expensive side but. definately worth the money. It has big durable wheels for easy movability, even through grass and rocks. Huge basket on the bottom for storage. A place to hold your drink on top. It also has a compartment next too the drink holder for holding things like keys, pacifiers etc. Very appealing to the eyes, wonderful design and colors. Very durable and strong. Simple latch makes it easy to open and close. Collapses shut making it easy to store in closet or trunk of car. I also liked the removable foot... review »

This stroller is a good thing for my six month old and my two year old.  It is fairly durable.  I have had a problem with the material fraying under the front seat but I called
Graco and they immediately sent me a new seat so the company is fairly easy to work with.  I have a very hard time fitting in shopping situations.  The stroller is large and hard to steer.  This stroller is best suited for outdoor situations but not jogging.  I took this stroller to an amusement park and it was wonderful and had tons of storage for all the extras needed in a place like this.  It is also nice for outdoor...

I love this stroller.  I have a very very small car,  a Toyota Yaris, and this stroller fits in the back of it.  I do have to take off the sun shade but still it is worth it to me.  It is easy to use.   I love that there are cup holders and a huge basket underneath.

The Graco DuoGlide Stroller is a double stroller by a reputable brand.  The stroller is tandem style (one child in front of the other, versus a side-by-side style).  There are several prints and designs available, for parents looking for "boyish", "girly" or "gender neutral" baby gear.

The DuoGlide has EXCELLENT turning ability and is very easy to control.  It is incredibly easy to navigate through tight stores, etc, which is crucial when this mom of twin infants goes out on her own.

One of the nicest benefits to this stroller is the ability to become a "travel system", in which 2 Graco carseats...

Upon finding out we were expecting another and our children would only be 17 months apart, we knew we would need to upgrade the stroller into a double.  I owned a Graco and was happy with it so we decided on the Graco Duo Glider Double Stroller.  Not only was it affordable, but it has just as many options as the expensive ones.  It is also compatiale with the Graco carseat I already had.  I can put the carseat in the front or back of the stroller.  I like putting it in the front so the baby can look at our toddler.  They play with each other that way and it makes shopping with two small ones...

This stroller has been a lifesaver for the past 2 years.  Great for twins or two children close in age.  We bought this when our second was born and our son was almost 2.  We used it a lot the first year but when our son turned 3 he was able to stay with us more and we used it only for big outings like theme parks.  Now I do home care for a 7 month old and she and my youngest, now two, are great in it.  I wouldn't be able to go anywhere if it weren't for a good double stroller!

Some of the best features are the ability to get into the basket when the back seat is fully reclined, you can...

The Graco DuoGlider is a very good stroller overall. I purchased this system for my twins before they were born so that I wouldn't need to purchase a second stroller as they got older. I needed to stretch my dollar as far as possible. I have not had any major issues with the Graco DuoGlider.

I like the fact that I can get through all doorways and 99% of store aisles. I only have trouble getting through stores that have too many racks on their floors. The basket can accomodate a LOT of stuff, which is great!

The negative things are fairly minor. The red latch that holds the stroller together...

I got this stroller for my second child's shower.  I almost cried.  If you are a typical mom you can't live without your stroller!  It goes everywhere we go.  Men just don't understand.  They can't live with them and we can't live without them!  I have a single Eddie Bauer stroller system from my first child and while it is heavy duty, it does not roll as easily as this double stroller.  I like the fact that everyone gets a cup holder and the basket is nice and big to hold the truckload of stuff that you have to have or that you accumulate throughout the day.  It maneuvers so well for being...

I love the Graco DuoGlider stroller.  I needed a double stroller that would actually fit into a car's trunk.  This one takes up much of the space, but it actually fits!  It is very easy to fold.  The seats recline, but the front one doesn't recline fully.  And I love the stadium seating.  The sun shades are big and offer great coverage.  The basket is very large, but if the back seat is reclined, you have to lift it up to reach anything in the basket.    Graco car seats attach easily and remove easily. It also moves/pushes/turns very easily. Even though it may be harder to push with...

First of all, let me say this - as a brand name, Graco usually makes pretty good products.

Now, Graco didn't impress me with this stroller. When I first got it, I thought I was really going to like it but the more I used it, the less I liked it. I have 3 children. My two oldest are almost exactly a year apart, so I bought this after I had my second child. It was a little complicated to figure out at first but once I got the hang of it, it wasn't so bad. However, the box said I could do it one handed - I couldn't. This stroller definitely got it's share of wear and tear but it only held up to the...
