Graco DuoGlider Double Stroller —

I have "Irish Twins" two children just a little over a year apart. This can make travel anywhere pretty crazy and with one child going one way and one the other plus all the packages, diaper bags, and toys a good twin stroller was necessary. I purchased the Graco Duo Glider - Jungle Adventure Stroller.

Facts about the Graco Duo Glider - Jungle Adventure Stroller.

  • decorated with a jungle theme (lions and tigers and bears oh my!)
  • currently priced at $219.00 but I purchased it at Target during a baby sale for half that price.
  • seats two children ages infant to 80 lbs.
  • for use with Graco Infant Car Seat carriers (SnugRide or SafeSeat)

What I don't like about the Graco Duo Glider - Jungle Adventure Stroller

  • it's heavy, almost 30 lbs to lift in and out of the mother's suburban assualt vehicle (the minivan)
  • the canopy in front doesn't attach very well, we leave it off most of the time because it pops
  • the canopy in the back doesn't fold smoothly making folding difficult
  • the price - my price was ok, but I think this price is expensive
  • no snack tray for back seat
  • basket is small
  • back seat when reclined interferes with basket use

What I do like about the Graco Duo Glider - Jungle Adventure Stroller

  • the fun patterns and jungle theme
  • neutral colors
  • one handed folding
  • easy to set dual back brakes
  • adjustable seats in front and back for reclining
  • foot rest for both front and back seats
  • snack tray for front seat
  • cup holder and "tray" for parent

My Viewpoint:  The Graco Duo Glider - Jungle Adventure Stroller at $105.00 was a steal from Target.  It has many of the features I wanted for both making my travel and the children's easy and comfortable.  The cup holder for the parent makes life so much easier and I can even put a snack in the covered tray and try to grab something to eat while fighting the airport or mall jungles.  The one handed folding feature is a life saver, but hefting that baby up and putting it into the minivan is a pain. It is heavy and bulky. It does fit through airport security scanning but barely.  For some reason no one other than myself can figure out how to use it, but that's ok, that means I can lead the way.

This sounds like a wonderful stroller. My nephews are 18-mos. apart so my sister also had to use a twin stroller. I believe hers was also by Graco but I'm not sure. J&M are now 14 1/2 and 16 so it's been a while ;+)
