Most HelpfulI have five children and have had a number of different carseats over the years. I have never been rich but always wanted the best I could afford for my kids, I have invested a lot of time and effort into researching all kinds of child care products trying to invest as wisely as possible. Over the years I have found that price does not reliably convey quality in infant care products- this is certainly the case with the Graco Comfort Sport.
The Comfort Sport was very affordable, when I purchased in 2006 I paid less than $70 at KMart. One of the main reasons I chose the Comfort Sport of similarly...
read full review »We love the Graco ComfortSport car seat with "gracopedic" comfort foam. We have owned at least five other car seats and this is the best. As a mom you want the safest car seat for your baby, but there is also the budget to consider for some of us. I did a lot of research to find a car seat that I felt was safe and comfortable and also affordable.
The Graco Comfort sport with gracopedic foam was reasonable in price, sort of right in the middle. But what really made the decision easy for me was the comfort! This seat is plush. And the seat cover comes off to clean, how great is that?! You...
read full review »I registered for the Graco ComfortSport when I was expecting my first baby. I knew we'd need a convertable seat at some point after he was too big for the infant carrier. The ComfortSport was a good value and I value the Graco name. My son is now in the seat and he seems perfectly content in it! It is easy to install and uninstall, when needed (even I can do it!). The straps are very easy to use and it is quick to get the baby in and out of the seat. This carseat is able to stay rear-facing up to 35 pounds, so we still have a ways to go until we absolutely have to turn him around (he...
read full review »I bought my daughter the Graco Comfortsport partially because of the great value. This was the only carseat in my price range which was padded enough that I felt that putting my daughter in it would be humane. She used to scream when I would put her in the baby carrier type car seat, so I was very worried as to how she would react to a new one. She loves it! This seat is just padded enough to be comfortable but not so padded that she isnt able to move. The straps seem to fit perfectly and do not rub her neck like some of the others. The only con I have with this seat is it is difficult...
read full review »I always go to the Graco Product first. I bought an infant carrier from Graco when my daughter was born and then purchased the ComfortSport Car Seat once she outgrew the other one. I can positively say that I have been very pleased. It proved it's safety the day that A car pulled out in front of me with my daughter in the car and hit me. My first reaction was my daughter's safety. I immediately ran to the back seat where she was crying, but completelyunharmed. I am so very thankful! I completely trust the Graco Name and stand behind it 100 %!
I bought this seat without doing much research beforehand. I knew the seat had generally good ratings, and I never seem to have enough money so the price was agreeable (less than $90 on sale at BRU)
First off, the seat itself is comfortable. My son was 6 months old when I got it and he seemed to enjoy it. I wasn't too involved in "carseat safety" at the time, but this seat only rear faces to 30 lbs. There are seats coming out now that can RF to 40 lbs, so it already lacks in that department. For $50, you can go to Walmart and get a seat that has better ratings than this ComfortSport...

She is a very picky child and from the day she was born she has always cried or fussed in her seat. My husband and I wanted to make sure we found a car seat with a great safety rating and our daughter was comfortable. Most store where car seats are sold have a floor model. We pulled the ones down that met our safety concerns and placed our daughter in them. The Graco ConfortSport was the one she was happy in. All the other seats we had the same result of fussing...
read full review »The Graco ComfortSport convertible carseat has been by far the best carseat I have purchased, and I have purchased six carseats between my two children. My daughter has loved this seat from day one. It's extra cushiony and very secure. I was able to use it from day one because it is for five to thirty pounds rear facing and tweenty to forty pounds foward facing. The seat cushion itself is machine washable and very durable. I have washed it several times and slipped it right back on the seat. There is also a headrest type pillow and a cupholder for when your child gets older. For parents that...
read full review »My husband and I got lucky when we had our son. most of our big ticket items were either gifts or reliable hand-me-downs. However, when our son grew too big for his small car seat that had two seperate bases (one in each vehicle) we faced an option. Move the car seat from vehicle to vehicle twice per day because I drop him off at daycare and my husband picks him up; or buy a second car seat. I am all of the following, a mom, a safe mom, a comparison shopper and a thrifty spender. I was looking for something that got great safety rating but wasn't going to break us. I hopped on the web and researched....
read full review »The Graco ComfortSport convertible car seat is, in my opinion, the best you could buy. I only wish we'd bought it before our baby was born, instead of waiting until she graduated from her infant carrier/car seat. It has such great padding and 4 reclining positions, and I know she would have been snug, safe, and comfortable from day 1. The seat can even be reclined while in the forward facing position, which is very helpful when my daughter goes to sleep in the car. It was a little difficult to recline at first, but once I figured it out, I had no other trouble with it. The directions...
read full review »I bought this car seat and was excited about the cute girly print and pretty good reviews, and I always though Graco was a reliable brand. Unfortunately I'm afraid many of the reviews must have been written before using this seat for a while, unless I just got a lemon. First the pros:
1. Low price
2. Fairly easy to install latch system, although i don't think any are really easy :)
Cons:
1. The straps drive me OUT OF MY MIND! They get so twisted, and it is impossible to untwist them and keep them that way. They actually twisted inside of the plastic chest clip pieces, and I have a really hard time...
read full review »The Graco ConfortSport convertable carseat is pretty easy to install both forward and rear facing. It has a nice size range for rearfacing. My daughter is 23 months old, 25 lbs and is still able to be rearfacing. This is important since the AAP is now reccommending that children be rearfacing until 2 years old or until they reach the limits of their carseat.
The Graco ComfortSport convertable carseat provides plenty of support for my daughter, she has never complained, even on long car rides, of feeling uncomfortable. She has plenty of support on the sides too, and likes that the seat comes with...
