An OK seat, wouldn't buy it again though.

I bought this seat without doing much research beforehand.  I knew the seat had generally good ratings, and I never seem to have enough money so the price was agreeable (less than $90 on sale at BRU)

First off, the seat itself is comfortable.  My son was 6 months old when I got it and he seemed to enjoy it.  I wasn't too involved in "carseat safety" at the time, but this seat only rear faces to 30 lbs.  There are seats coming out now that can RF to 40 lbs, so it already lacks in that department.  For $50, you can go to Walmart and get a seat that has better ratings than this ComfortSport and it will RF to 35 lbs.

The seat I have is literally falling apart.  The elastic on the sides that keep the cover on is shot, and the seat has barely been used for a year now (I haven't even had it 2 years).  There are little white hooks that keep the cover locked into the actual seat, and they fell out and got lost, so now the seat can't even be used until I can buy the replacement hooks.

The straps are always getting turned around and bunched up, and the chest clip is flimsy.

It's not a good seat for the price you pay for it.  My son is 2 1/2 and can still rear face in it, but that's because he's below average in weight and height.  If I could do it over again, I'd save up a little extra money and buy an Alpha Omega Elite.
