We have purchased a total of four Graco carseats, including this particular model. Graco makes great products, and I have never had a single complaint when using them. Their history and reliability are superb and I will not buy another brand of carseat or any other baby gear, for that matter.  My son loved riding in this carseat, because it is extremely cushy and comfortable. The seat is well-made and stands the test of time, even while a toddler is riding in it day in and day out. It is easy to clean and easy to install. The straps are very easy to adjust and fasten, and they can be moved to different heights to fit your child's shoulders at different ages. There are also grooves at the top where a seatbelt can be used in the more traditional style, although I prefer the safety of hooking the carseat into the car and using the harness.  This carseat is a great one and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to buy a convertible carseat!

This car seat has worked out really well for our family.We have 4 children and 3 of which still need still need a car seat. This car seat is great for an older child, who nolonger wants to be viewed as the "baby." This seat is easy to install and is very safe. I like that it is a good safety seat, while letting my 5 year old feel like a big boy while keeping him safe. He can get in and out of it with out help. The straps are easy to adjust to his height and he can use the car's seat belts own his own without help.  The cover is very durable and easy to remove and run thurought the washing machine, for those times that spills occur. This is an excellent car seat for the price and is very worth the safety that is provides for your child while letting their self esteem continue to grow. Over the years we have had several car seats and this one has held up very well and does not show wear and tear at all. I really appreciate a quality product and this one is great.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, my husband and I registered for and received this carseat. And we love it! It's easy to install (once you figure out how to do it--it took us a whole hour and a half the first time. Yeah, we were dumb), and very affordable, especially since it's durable enough to be used for multiple children. I like that it's not a flashy color, and that it's gender-neutral. We haven't actually had to clean it much yet, but whenever our daughter has spit up on it, we've just swabbed it with a wet cloth and a little dish soap, and it's turned out fine. I love that it comes with cupholder attachments--which I thought were stupid when my daughter was younger, but now are handy since she often drinks from sippy cups in the car--and that it's easy to adjust the straps to fit her. I'm also happy that it's not just an infant carseat, and that we can use it as she grows. Graco's a very dependable brand, and I always feel safe when I put my daughter into her carseat.

I shopped around after my son was out of his infant carseat, Graco is one of the top brands when it comes to child safty and I always want him to be safe, cost does not matter, but i found this great carseat and it wasn't expensive at all. What I like about it is that when i tested it when i got home, there is no way for him to fall out and he likes being in it. It came with a cup holder that you can detatch and it adjusts as he grows. I tested it, by placing a doll and adding weight to it to match my sons body weight, i tipped it upside down and shook it. the doll never fell out. I drive a truck and it comes with clamps so you can keep the carseat from falling out of the vehicle, it has easy to clips so if i had to get him out of the truck in a hurry i can, safty is very important when it comes to children, I love this care seat so much that i bought one for a friend for her baby shower and recomend it to anyone that has children.

I think the Graco Platinum CarGo is a great car seat. I had not registered for it for my baby shower, but someone got it for me anyway and I have really had no complaints about it thus far. It is made for kids that are ready to face forward in the car and what I love about it is that it will grow with my daughter. It will be a booster seat to be used with the car over-the-sholder seatbelt when she is older. She was 12 months and was the correct weight so I put her in this. She loved facing forward of course and she has never had a complaint about it being uncomfortable on long car trips. It does not have all of the bells and whistles such as a cup holder on the side and it is a little hard to take apart and clean, this is why I only gave this four stars out of a possible five. But overall I have been very happy with it. When I was redy to buy another car seat for my son, I wanted to get another CarGo but I think they have stopped making this model...? Maybe I just didnt search in the right stores.. ?

The Graco Platinum CarGo Seat is an excellent seat for a baby or toddler it can hold up to 40 pounds and can be facing either forwoards or backwards and my son loves it because it has very good cushions and the straps are just right for him. Another thing that is interesting on it is that it can sit straight up or lean back, your choise.
