Good quality travel system

5

I love this stroller and car seat. The handle to the stroller is actually adjustable which is pretty cool because I'm short and my husband is Tall. The stroller is pretty easy to push. Although it is big it doesn't feel heavy and it rolls pretty smooth. What I like about the stroller before we got it was that you can switch the handle to the other side so that your baby faces you. Its cool because when you first have a baby all you really want to do is look at them all day. The only issue is that when you turn it around the stroller moves a little funny because the front wheels are now in the back and sometimes they turn a little when you don't want them to. My baby used to love the car seat when he could fit in it. He would lay in there and go right to sleep. He seemed to be very comfortable in it. It fits securely on the stroller because there is a piece that locks it in place. I also like that there is an indicator o the bottom that will let you know if the car seat is placed correctly in the car.

One of the best baby items we have!

I love love love this travel system! I registered for it because first off I loved the colors and patterns. I was looking for a neutral item in case we had a boy next (we had a girl first). I loved that you got 2 in 1. We used the car seat until my daughter was a little over a year old. We also still use the stroller currently too and she is 17 months now. I love the visor, the buckle, the pocket behind the visor and the underneath storage to hold bags etc. I love that you can flip the handle to have baby face you or face forward!! Also of course, gotta love a cup holder for Mom! Love everything about this product, thank you! Safety The brakes on this system are very easy to use!

The Graco Alano is pretty good...

Overall, I do like this stroller. I was able to find a design that was even cute, not just the most tolerable. I really like that I can walk with baby facing me. There's nothing I like more than baby's face, so I certainly appreciate the option of being able to see her the whole time we're walking. I'm also a super-paranoid first time mom, so I also like that I can just look down to make sure she's not choking or some other ridiculous, unlikely scenario. It's super easy to get the caseseat on (it just clicks in), and pretty easy (you pull up a red handle) to get it out without really disturbing a sleeping baby too much. I also like that you can buy multiple bases instead of a whole new careseat. There's plenty of storage, too. There a large space under the seat, a cupholder, and a zippered pouch. I only have two complaints so far, though. One, the careseat is heavy and big! My MIL drives an aveo, and installing it means that you cannot use the front seat. The other is that it's complicated to fold the stroller. So much taht evertime I think to look itup, there are too many steps to remember, and I just don't do it.

Great idea!

I do a lot of walking, so this stroller makes sense for me. It saves my little man's eyes from the sun. I think it could have been executed a little bit better, however. When you are pushing with the baby facing you, the front of the stroller is at your feet. It protrudes in the front, so you have to be careful and watch your ankles. The handle positions when it is this way is a little awkward, too. It is either too high or too low. When you push it the regular way the handle is fine, only going backwards is it awkward. The basket is extremely small, about 1/2 the size of my Evenflo Aura. There is a small zipper pouch in back of the child's seat, but I much preferred the compartment on the Evenflo. Graco could have made this stroller better by having the option to make all of the wheels turn, and to be locked or in use, depending on which way the stroller is facing. This would alleviate having the steering in the back. Picture reversing your car, that's how you have to drive the stroller! The cup holder is pretty much useless, too. My bottle of water was bouncing around, and 1/2 the cups i tried to use didn't fit.

Flip it is ingenious

5

I have to say that I was intrigued with the idea of the Flip It.  The idea that you could change the stroller so that the baby was facing in or out was very appealing when it came time to pick out a new stroller.  I love the color of the car seat and the stroller and I have gotten many compliments on it.  I also like how easy the stroller is to steer.  It can be folded down or opened with one hand.  It is easy to store in the back of my van and I like all the little compartments.  I also love the fact that the car seat is compatible with my older Snug Ride bases.  The only thing I thought was missing was the fact that this car seat didn't come with strap covers.  My other Snug Rides had little velcro covers to attatch to the seat belt straps to keep them from rubbing against the baby's neck or shoulders.  Other than that, I think this product is great. If you are looking for a good, reasonably priced travel system- this one is it!

Buy the Graco Alano Flipit!

5

I took hours and hours of reviewing different strollers and ended up landing on the Alano FlipIt. There are so many things I enjoy about this stroller. First, the color scheme is wonderful. I have the greeen colors and so it is gender neutral. It is very easy to open and fold down, as with many travel systems the stroller is a bit bulky and takes up a lot of space in the trunk. Yet, we bought it knowing this and expecting that for a newborn we were going to run in to this. The ride is super smooth and I love having the flip-it feature. I enjoy being able to move it to move her out of the sun more and when she is sleeping it cradles her towards me more. This stroller only has 1 (removeable) pop holder, at first this concerned me but I don't mind it at all. So many friends have told me that it just gets clogged with crap and I don't even notice not having it. I have the pop holder if I need to put my keys in there or what not. If this really bothers you, you can buy a detachable one on many websites. Also, I am 5' 9" and I love that the push bar is moveable so you can adjust it for your height. If you are 5' you can bend it down to be more comfortable. I would buy this again and again!

the perfect travel system

4

This travel system is great to have if you have a new born baby. I like the fact that it came with both a stroller and a car seat. the system saved me money because i did not have to buy both things individually. The structure of both items is strong and i am able to move around with them easily. I like the neutral coloring of the set because i will be able to use for years as i have more children. the car seat is easy to connect to my car seats and it also fits my child. Unfortunately, it does not take long for the child to outgrow the car seat, so i will have to purchase a new one soon. The disconnection process is easy for me to do. I think that the car seat is a little bulkier than i would have liked it to be.

Best Stroller for one child

5

I fell in love with my Graco travel system! It is the best and easiest stroller i have ever seen or used. When I had my second baby, I struggled with giving it up for my double stroller. The stroage and extras are perfect. I can not think of a single thing I would change. It folds down with one move. It is a little heavy, but not too heavy. It fit in my trunk perfectly. I have had it for 4 years and it is still going. Hate to give it up! I highly recommend it.

the stroller can do the job!

4

I bought the Graco Alano FlipIt - Circa Travel System Stroller from target when it is on clearance. so I bought it half price. It includes a car seat and a matching stroller. It is very handy because I don't have to look for a matching set separately. For the first time mom, it does its job. It is very sturdy. Also the car seat can be put on the stroller very easily. It has different positions, so that the baby can sleep in the stroller compfortably. It got four cup holder which is very convinivient. However, when the car seat is mounted in the car, it is a little bit too upright. When I put my new born in the car seat, I can tell she is not very comfortable. When she gets bigger, it is not too bad. For the stroller, as the travel system, it is a little bit too heavy 18pound. It is also not very easy to fold and hard to put in the trunk of my compact car. As a matter of fact, now I am thinking about buying a light weight stroller to replace it.

Great travel system!

5

We got this stroller travel system at our baby shower last year and we absolutely love it! The car seat goes in and out of both the car and the stroller with ease. It is a very high quality stroller and manuevers very easily. I love it when the flip it feature has the baby facing you. It is a little difficult for a taller person (or maybe a person at any height) not to kick the wheels accidentaly when it is flipped so that the baby is facing outwards. I love that it has a cup holder on the handle and ample storage space. I can easily fit my son's rather large diaper bag down below and hang my purse on the handle - not every stroller I've seen can do that! I also love that one car seat adapter is included with the system. We only had to buy one other one for my car so that we weren't having to shuffle it back and forth! I love this system and would definitely recommend to my other mommy and daddy friends!
