As a stay-at-home mom of four I have to be budget wise. When I needed to replace my baby swing between child two and child three I bought a Graco 2 speed swing second hand for twenty dollars. It was money well spent. The swing is well designed with no bar overhead to bump baby's head on. The seat reclines back and there are three positions to choose from. When baby is younger the seat can recline fully back, and then as baby learns to sit up you can adjust the seat into a sitting position.
