best new show of the season

a pet owner, a girl, a fan of clever plots, into some dramas but not all, a comedy fan, Not offended by foul language, very picky about tv

This is absolutely the best new show of the season.  I'm sad we don't get to see Kristin Bell, but she's still great as "Gossip Girl."  The show doesn't really follow the books, but I enjoy the TV plots just as much.  I'm particularly glad they decided to have Serena and Dan be a couple rather than Vanessa and Dan like in the books.  I also like that the TV characters are more sympathetic than their book counterparts.
