Gossip Girl —
I first started watching this show because it aired just after Top Model so I kept seeing ads for it and it looked like an interesting drama. As soon as I watched the first episode, I was hooked! This is a guilty pleasure of drama and fantasy, but it is a great show. It features characters of high society and where there is money you know there will be drama. The main character is Serena, a society girl who suddenly left town last year and is now back. But things have changed and relationships are intertwined betwen the characters. Her best friend Blair is the queen of gossip girl town and will do anything she can to stay on top. She is more like an ice queen, but once in a while has a soft side. There is drama everywhere between Blair and her on again off again boyfriend, who secretly loves Serena. Then there is Dan who Serena is with, but he is no high society boy. I watch week after week as the drama unfolds and really like the characters and writing. The show is a great escape from reality and as soon as you watch, you'll be hooked on the gossip too.
