I like shrimp so I was excited to try Gorton's Garlic Butter Shrimp Bowl. Gorton's markets this product as "fettuccine with shrimp and vegetables in a savory garlic butter sauce."
The nutritional information is as follows:

So did this shrimp bowl taste as described? Somewhat. It tasted okay but it wasn't the "savory" meal that I had hoped for. The shrimp were tiny - like the ones that you get in a salad. The pictures of shrimp on the packaging were bigger than the actual shrimp in the bowl. Gorton's should have a disclaimer stating that objects are smaller than they appear.
The vegetables (carrots, peas, and red peppers) tasted okay but the fettuccine was a little overcooked (I microwaved this meal) so the ends were hard. Most disappointing to me was that the garlic butter sauce was very runny, almost watery. I had hoped for a thick alfredo-type sauce.
Would I buy Gorton's Garlic Butter Shrimp Bowl again? Probably not. In fact, my advice is to skip this shrimp.
