Great search engine but sponsored advertising questionable.

Google —
Google is great. You can search for anything and everything. It's fast and easy and great for research for school. You can look up anything you want or need. Search for online shopping sites, lookup information on any school topic, search for recipes, photos, etc. It's the best search engine I've seen. The only fault I see with Google is all of the advertising. You have to ask yourself if the sponsored ads can really be trusted. For example, let's say you're looking for a free anti-virus program. Tons of ads come up on the side saying they'll remove spyware, viruses etc. Then, if you just install one of them you could end up actually adding spyware or viruses to your computer. You can even search through Google some of their sponsors for things like anti-virus programs and anti-spyware and it brings up several search results about how the programs are not safe and can actually infect your computer. So even though Google is a great search engine, you still have to be careful about what ads you're clicking because whether they're sponsored by Google or not, they still could harm your computer.
