Google has come out with a Beta version of its new Search Engine: Google Chrome.
The new service is said to make your searching easier, safer and faster.  It works with Windows Vista /XP SP2.

The Google site brags on these features:

Using a TAB system similar to files in a file drawer you will have instant access to your most visited sites, recently bookmarked pages and closed tabs.

Each  tab runs independently in the browser so if you experience a problem crash with one tab it will not affect the other tabs.

There is a stealth mode option called INCOGNITO MODE.  If you don't want your web history shown choose this mode.

Bookmarking is as simple as clicking the star icon on the left edge of the address bar. Presto!  It's done.

When you download Google Chrome you are given the option to import all of your previous bookmarks and passwords from your previous browser.  How easy is that?

I downloaded Google Chrome after my Poli Sci major son recommended it to me.  It was easy to download and I do think the downloads are faster.  So far, so good!

Because I haven't had a long relationship with Google Chrome and it is still in the Beta stage I am giving it 4 stars.  Time will tell if it deserves 5.

Update:  The more I use it the more I like it.  It IS fast and getting easier as I familiarize myself with it.

I've downloaded Chrome and so far it seems pretty cool! Not giving up Firefox just yet, though!

I think the plan is just that; to give Microsoft a run for their money!

I got my answer. I zoomed in on the photo and it is bubbles :+}

I love to "Google." At the office my coworkers are always saying, "I googled it..." and now that is my way of doing Internet searches. Are you blowing bubbles in your picture?

Maybe they'll give Microsoft Explorer a run for their money. Competition is a good thing!

I will have to check it out!
