Bottom-Line: The Goodyear Assurance TripleTred meet my exacting demands for a high performance (touring) all season passenger tire.  I can hardly wait for the first snow to fall.  If you need a set of new tire of your passenger car, you can't go wrong with the Goodyear Assurance TripleTred.

Living in the Chicago area my requirements for a new set of tires include great performance on dry surfaces-the car has the hug those off ramp curves-in the rain, and especially the snow and ice, staples of the Chicago winter.  I flirted (briefly) with purchasing Michelin tires, but the price of the tires...

I've had my GoodYear tripletred tires for exactly 3 years now.  They are rated for 80,000 miles, but I would suggest that you don't plan on that really happening.  I live in an area with cooler weather (Michigan), which is supposed to be better in terms of tire life.  I've put about 57,000 miles on the tires, and had them rotated every 6,000 miles.  As of tomorrow I will be replacing them, which is much sooner than I had anticipated, but Goodyear will prorate you back the amt difference based on the miles you don't make it to 80,000 so I am not terribly upset.  In fact, let's face it marketing... review »

I was a bit shocked when my wife told me that on her first day with the new tires.  We drive 40 miles to work on the highway so I decided to go a little extra on tires for our mid size front wheel drive car.  Goodyear has rated them the highest of their product line.  My truck needs 4 wheel drive just to keep up with what these tires can do.  Winter has thrown a lot of slop at us and these tires have pulled away from a stop, taken me around corners in town and travel straight down the highway at reasonable speeds.  I have not tried the 80 mile per hour claim.  They brake well with very little... review »

Was told the tires would last 80,000 miles when i bought them. I figured if I got 30,000 i'd be happy. Last weeks down pour on the interstate opened my eyes and I replaced them at 35,000 miles. I could have pushed them to 40,000 if I only drove on dry streets. So I guess im ok with them.

Research before I buy

I researched these tires for several weeks before I purchased them.  The Goodyear Assurance Tripletred tires were ranked very high by Consumer Reports.  Also, there were outstanding reviews by owners of these tires.  I purchased these tires on sale for $75 a tire, plus an additional mail-in-rebate.  The factors I looked at in this purchase included a tire made by a reputable manufacturer, cost, handling ability on snow and in rain, smooth ride, and warranty (80,000 miles).  At this point, I have only put on 3,000 miles on them but I am very satisfied.  An added bonus was the appearance... review »

Bought a 1999 Honda Accord 4-door V6 with these tires on it 23 months ago.  Tires had about 10k miles on them.  I've put @68,000 miles more on them, and they still have probably 10k miles to go - these tires are unbelievable!

I have had them rotated and balanced about every 12-15k miles.

I do a lot of highway driving with my job, and these tires have been awesome - very very smooth at 75+mph, with an acceptable level of road noise.  Excellent handling in all road conditions in TN/N. Alabama.   I really couldn't ask for a better tire, and will be purchasing another set without any thought...

These are one of the best tires that I have ever owned. In snow and sleet they worked extremely well. Traction was amazing on snow covered roads. In the rain they always held the road without any slipping or feel that you were going to loose traction on turns and curves. One of my vehicle has 4 of these Goodyear Assurance tires on it and they have over 75,000 miles on them.  I'm still not into the wear bar indicators yet. I highly recommend this brand.

I have bought many tires in my life. These GoodYear tires are by far the best yet. I like how the tire handles in the rain. I've had tires that would slid in the corners, but not with these. When I have my family with me I want to make sure i get to where I am to be in one peice. This is why I like this tire.

I was not sure about these tires, especially because of the price. I was not worried about the brand. I finally decided to go through with the purchase in July 2007. I could not be more satisfied with my purchase. They have excellent traction. They have saved me from hydroplaning more then once since purchasing them.

I had this brand of tire installed on my vehicle and love it.  Had a friend who referred the tire because I was disappointed in the performance of the last two sets I bought.  Although they were in perfect shape, I had them removed in an effort to get the handeling I wanted.

I own a 2003 Impala with 60,000 miles on it.  I thought about replacing the original tires (tiger paw all weathers).  They were ok tires but I knew that I had to upgrade to a much better tire.  So last year I bought two Viva2 tires- BIG mistake!  They were just horrible, noisy and had poor handling capabilities. So last week, after much research, I decided to buy two Goodyear Assurance TripleTred tires to replace last years viva2 tires.  Keep in mind that the Viva2 only had about 10,000 mi. on them now, so they were basically new, but I couldn't stand the noise that they produced nor could... review »

I purchased these tires for my 2000 Toyota Camry two years ago now and I love them.  The tread still looks brand new.  I feel secure and in control of my car with these tires and I would purchase them again.

These tires were initially recommended to me by my father and my only relucance was the price.  However, the Camry was new to me with low mileage and I knew I would be putting a great deal of wear and tear on them.  I have to honestly say it was the best investment I made besides buying the car.

I was even given a pick up line at the gas station last week... Wow, nice tires.  Look at that...

My wife and I own a small wholesale business in Lake Charles,La. ,along with raising two kids.

The best insurance for the company is having Great Tires ( all weather stopping power).

Both family and business changed from the Hydo-Edge Michelin to the Good Year Triple Tred and find them to have the best all weather stopping power.

When you have something to protect, there no better insurance than Good Year Triple Tred!

Sounds like a commercial, but my family and company mean everything.

expensive if there wasn't a sale for the tires but worth the safety.
