I don't know much about cars but when we had our tires changed 2 years ago, we had these put on. The tread has been very durable. They need to be changed again now but they lasted through us travelling back and forth 200 miles each month (and not being used for daily commute). They work well in any weather. We never had a problem in rain with hydroplaning or sliding the car in snow.

We found that the Goodyear Assurance CS Triple Tred All-Season Tires to be the best in this class of tires. We were looking for all season tires as to have them be dependable long lasting tires. These tires were all that and more. We found them to be road holding tires in all kinds of weather. In the rain there was no hydroplaning from having tires which were unable to handle the rain. In the snow and ice they had no problem gripping the road and not sliding around and spinning all over the road. The part that amazed me was the fact that they were even sure and steady on the ice, which we loved. The Triple Tred All-Season it seemed to help that the tires were triple tread by hugging the road tighter. It seemed that the worse the condition we were driving in the better the tires operated! These Goodyear tires operated at a higher level then the sales department stated they would. We have been very pleased even more with maintaining of the tires. These were dependable; no blow outs or loosening tread on these ones. They also didn't seem to need a lot of extra to maintain them in working order. We had these particular tires for 35,000 miles, at that point we no longer had this car. We would recommend these to anyone who asked our opinion. To our family, friends, and neighbors we would tell them to buy these.

I'll preface this by saying I know nothing about cars, and typically rely on the service people to make good recommendations. I was told I needed to change all four tires last month, and these Goodyear Assurance CS TripleTred All-Season tires were recommended. I've been driving on them for a month now, and we've had some crazy weather here in New Jersey. The tires have done really well in the cold and snow that we've had. I've been able to get around with no problem. We have had rain in the last month (as well as the snow), and the tires did well in the rain. I didn't experience any slippage while driving. I have not gotten a chance to test them in really warm weather, but I expect they will perform well. The car feels very stable driving on highways at speeds up to 70 mph. I've noticed that the tires seem a bit noisier than my last set of tires, but since I rarely drive with my window open, I don't think it will really bother me too much.

I'm a student so anything that I can save money on, I will. These tires have lasted about a year so far and there's actually minimal wear on the treads. I moved from Maine to Virgina, which actually allowed me to save money on tires because there isn't any (compared to Maine) snow here. These are all seasons, but I've only had to drive in an inch of snow. They did not slip and there were no other surprises in any way.
