GoodSearch Review

goodsearch.com is a great search engine and a great way to raise real money for charity without any extra effort or expense.  You just pick a charity to raise money for and then search for whatever you wanted to search for like you would any other search engine.  But unlike other search engines,everytime you click search, a penny is donated to your charity.  A penny may not sound like much, but it adds up in a hurry. 

The search engine is powered by yahoo, so it's a good tool.  The results are always good.  Sometimes better than the results that I get with other engines.  My mother loved the results from goodsearch before she even knew about the charity aspect.  The only drawback I've experienced is that the results are mildly filtered for content, especially the image search.  And it's not like Google where the results are filtered as the default, but you can easily turn the filters off.  There is no unfiltered mode with goodsearch.  But if you're searching for something that won't make a difference if you only see the fairly family friendly results, you won't notice the difference. I guess if you're surfing at work or at home with little ones, or are offended by adult material, you might even see this as a plus. 

There's no hassle of having to register to use the site.  You don't have to waste your time filling any forms or share your personal information.

You can change what charity you are benefiting as often as you like.  You can pick one, and it will leave it as your choice until you change it (or clear your browser cookies) tha way  you can benefit the same charity every time.  Or you could change it with every single search if that's what you wanted to do. 

Hassle free, expense free way to do something nice while you do something you would be doing anyway.  Everyone should use it.
