Goo (and everything else) Gone!

4

I have used Goo Gone for years to take off adhesives from jars and bottles and its always worked perfectly so when I saw that they made a spray RTU (ready to use) version I wasted no time getting it. I use this mostly on the kitchen floor for the sticky messes (jelly, ketchup, barbeque sauce etc) that people drop and ignore. This breaks up the mess and allows you to wipe it away without having to get on your hands and knees to scrub the floor. When things drip off the counter onto the cabinets it can blend in with the wood and you don't notice it until dirt starts sticking to it. A few shots of this and it's a lot easier to clean than using a wet sponge or harsh chemicals that could damage the surface.

Oh...How I love Goo Gone!!

I'm a Preschool Teacher that LOVES Goo Gone Stray Gel! One of the biggest things I use this for in the classroom is cleaning the wall paper in the classroom with it! We have the top part of the wall painted, a chair rail, than the wall paper. The wall paper gets really gross in the "Cozy Corner" where many of the children put their feet on the wall, and by the trash cans, where lots of gross old food gets splashed on the wall. I spray Goo Gone on the wall and use a scrub brush to remove all of the gross things on the wall. I hardly even have to scrub and it gets clean REALLY quickly! I also clean the children's toy shelves with goo gone to remove old sticky goo that old name tags as well as very abrasive tape. This also removes sticky tape residue that was on the magnetic walls. So many uses for just one product! Performance Goo Gone does a great job at removing sticky residue left behind! Scent Goo Gone smells like oranges. Whenever I use goo gone, everyone always comments on how good the classroom smells!

Goo Gone Is the Best!

5

I have been using Goo Gone for many years. Throughout those years I have found many uses for it! It is the best product for removing stickers from windows and mirrors. Use it to remove car decals and even price stickers. It never fails, every time I buy a gift I have a hard time removing the price sticker! You can even use Goo Gone to remove some ink spots on counter tops. Since it is designed to remove the 'sticky stuff" it will work on glue and chewing gum also. Basically, if it is sticky or stubborn, Goo Gone will get it out! Goo Gone provides a very pleasant orange scent so you will not get dizzy or have any negative effects from the product. The only downside to Goo Gone is the grease it leaves behind, but it is a simple clean up with a paper towel. It is an affordable product that is guaranteed to get the goo out. I highly recommend you try Goo Gone and I promise you won't be disappointed!

Always on Hand

This is a product that when I run out of it, it is instantly on my shopping list. We are a household of 4 and always seem to have something that is sticky and hard to remove with average cleaners. Even my teenagers know where to find the Goo Gone spay. I also do a lot of home improvement and I use this constantly with removing old tape or cleaning tough surfaces such as old window panes. Performance We use Goo Gone on everything from removing sticky labels from frames, to unknown sticky messes in our cars. The targeted sprayer helps to get this miracle cleaner where I need it. I also recommend spaying it in a cloth or paper towel and rubbing the yucky surface. What is so handy is that after Goo Gone gets rid of the sticky mess, it easily cleans up. I really hate struggling to remove price tags from kitchen goods like glasses or even new shoes. This is my go-to product. Scent I personally light the citrus-like smell. It is sweet with an edge and it now reminds me of "clean" in scents.

I have used this many times for different sticky situtations!

I have used the regular Goo Gone for years. I was so happy I found out it came in a spray bottle. I have yet to find a sticky mess that was not helped by Goo Gone. My daughter has gotten gum in her hair, Goo Gone was there to get me out of that mess! I did not even have to cut her hair! Just spray a little bit on a rag, smooth it over the hair and the gum, wait a few minutes, and it comes right out! Goo Gone is also great for when there is stickiness left over on a cup or dish and you just cannot get it off. It wipes right off after a spray of this product! There are so many nice things I could say about this product. It is not expensive and the spray bottle I have right now has lasted me almost two years, so far. I will have it for much long than that. It does not take much to get rid of the mess. The scent is also very nice and even though the spray is a little oily, it comes right off after washing whatever you used Goo Gone on. I would recommend this product for any sticky mess you may have. It is wonderful.

It works pretty good if your patient

We always have a bottle of this on hand. It works well on stickers, tape, glue and other odds and ends things. We have found that it only works well when you exercise patience. Most times you have to saturate the area and leave it to soak for at least an hour. You might still have to scrape and reapply and scrape again but it requires a lot less muscle if you let it soak. We have tried to spray and scrape fit away and it just doesn't work. We had a huge project requiring us to remove thick double sided poster tape from painted metal fixtures and it helped us get the job done. We were surprised that it didn't peel the paint in this case. Additionally, I use it to peel labels off jars from the grocery store and it works great if you soak and wait. My only complaint is the scent. I don't care for orange scents anyway but this one is very strong and stays on my hands after I use it. I do wash my hands but I can still smell it for the rest of the day as if it soaked into my hands.

A Useful Multitasking Product

I absolutely love Goo Gone Spray Gel. This product is a must for anyone with small children. When my daughter was 3 and was being "watched" by her father, she created a crayon mural on our dining room wall. After the initial shock subsided, I grabbed my Goo Gone and sprayed the wall and was able to remove the crayon marks. It did take some time and elbow grease, but Goo Gone got the job done. Ever since, I have always had Goo Gone on hand and still use it today for removing gum residue left behind from stickers and labels. Performance Goo Gone works great to remove any crayon or wax marks, and to remove sticky or gummy residue from store labels. It does feel a little greasy, probably because it is petroleum based. When I use this, I do notice a little greasy residue left behind, but I usually use soap and water to remove it. Scent This product states that it is citrus scented. I think the scent smells more like oil than citrus. The scent is not too bad and would not deter me from using it when needed.

It has it's hits and misses.

This product has given me some awesome results and some not so awesome results. I would say it depends on what you're trying to remove but honestly, you never know what it's going to do. I've used this on gum, tape, duct tape, electrical tape, and kids stickers residues with no issues, but in other circumstances it has been no help. I've tried it on a few different types of labels, a sticker on a car windshield, and getting glue out of the carpet but in those instances it didn't help at all. I'm not sure if the type of glue or chemical used in the glue and stickers is what causes it to not work but in some instances this has helped remove sticker residue as if it were water and in other circumstances, no amount of scrubbing helped and I had better luck with isopropyl alcohol. I guess it depends on the goo you're trying to remove as to how well this product will work for you. I keep some on hand just incase but I usually end up using a lot of it with each sticky mess I try to remove. It's definitely a try it and see type of product and that's kind of a let down. I can say though there have been times I would not have wanted to be without this stuff! Performance It really depends on what you're trying to remove because sometimes I have no issues and other times no amount of scraping and scrubbing can remove the stains I try to scrub out. Scent It smells okay. It kind of smells like a glue to me, which is odd because it's a glue and sticky substance remover.

Really gets the goo gone

This product is amazing and so easy to use. I bought a used car that had protective stickers around the door handles and door jams. It started to peel off and look terrible. I was able to tear the plastic sticky part off but it left the residue behind. I tried everything and scrubbed and scrubbed and it would not come off. I bought goo gone at the auto parts store since the clerk swore it would work perfectly for what I needed. She was right, I literally sprayed it right on the residue and let it sit for a few seconds and it wiped right off. I did not have to scrub at all. I was amazed. It made a project that would have taken many hours, literally take 30 min. This is a miracle product and even smells good. Performance This products works so well and I have confidence on it working on nearly everything, even the toughest projects. Scent I was pleasantly surprised at how good this product smelled. It had a light orange scent.

Great Cleaner for Kids

5

I love having a bottle of this cleaner on hand at all times. It has so many uses with my little two-year-old "artist" around the house. She has drawn on the walls and tile floors with both her markers and crayons before. This Goo Gone cleaner was able to remove both the crayon and marker without leaving any damage to the paint on the walls. It also removed them from the tile with ease. This stuff can also remove sticky residue. I once covered my entire door with stickers and when it came time to move out I had to take them all down after three years of them being there. There was a ton of residue left behind but after a bottle of Goo Gone, a scrub brush, and some elbow grease I was able to get every last bit of it off. My husband has also been sloppy with his shoe shine and made a mess with it on the hardwood floor as well. This cleaner was able to take care of that mess too without any damage to the floor.
